In would rather Hibs beat them, couldn't stomach the Hun media frenzy that would go with a Hun win. Hibs win, meltdown will start.

Okay so we’ve disposed of Scotland’s most successful club last season, now onto the Germans.

The Saints very well organised but overall we deserved our victory.

That referee Walsh was atrocious . He was like a Dodge City gunslinger with those yellow cards.

Rooney should have got a straight red card for that challenge on Welsh, he had his elbow pointed already, before he jumped for the ball. A major head injury could have occurred. Rooney was * off after we had scored, was also still angry after being dealt with in a heading duel with CCV earlier in the same half.

Ralston impressed once again. Not a big man but times his jumps well and wins the ball in the air. We really did not have many shots on goal in this game. Need to avoid trying to walk it into the net.

I enjoyed the game for the drama, and St Johnstone impressed me defensively. They will block every shot they can and put their bodies on the line to protect their goal area.

    Bring on the Germans.

An absolute freebie if the new Saviour Gio * it on the first step. Just know they'll fill days out of it if they win, with their sycophancy.

Can't see it though, reckon Huns will nip it

    Summary of the game.

Jota doing jota things, terrific tribute to bertie. Jamesey popping up as he often does with a big goal.

    Bertie you'll never walk alone

Dire game really, St Johnstone were well drilled as you would think as they had 2 weeks to prepare with all their players. We played too slowly in the build up and let them get into position and hardly created anything.

Good to have Forrest back and looking sharp, before the break he looked heavy but looked back to normal today.

Scrappy game but class atmosphere. Tribute to Bertie was amazing at 67 as well as the start.

Thought bitton was solid and well chuffed for JF[IMG]

A fit Forrest should be first choice on the right wing. Abada second, still young. However whoever is in form and training well and precise in their game should be first choice . Experience also is important. Forrest has the credits on the board.
