Celtic 1 - 0 St. Johnstone

Cup final booked, salty Huns, great display, no injuries... Couldn't ask for more tbh...

 

Fans were outstanding. Excellent displays.

I'd take any win in the semi, even more so against St Johnstone. They played to their strengths, I cannae blame them, even though it was eye watering to watch.

I'd love Hibs to go through tomorrow as it'll set the huns off into meltdown again.

Passing it around the back just invites pressure on us every time. We need to change it up a bit.

The ref was never giving us a penalty for that handball, even though the new rules make it blatent that pretty much any handball is a handball. Delighted Forrest was there to finish it. His display just gave us a glimpse of a forward line of Jota, Kyogo and Forrest would look like and it's beautiful. I still rate Abada but it's clear as day that Forrest is the better option, which we already knew.

Good win, St Johnstone made it a really frustrating afternoon but fair play to wee jamesy stepping up off the bench to win it.

That nick Walsh is a detestable * man.

great first 10 minutes then it was a slog trying to break down 11 men behind the ball as usual.

This passing it backwards and sideways in the middle of the * 18 yard box has to stop, 3 times it almost cost us tonight and the one in the first half where it just trickles by the post was a joke.

Passing out is fine but make sure they're * forward, st johnstone did nothing we caused our own problems.

 

Just turned over to sportscene there, is it just me or does McFadden look seriously unwell? * not even 40 yet and looks about 60.

 

terrible subscription TV, I had it on my smart TV for my son to watch it cut off just like any other game that’s played live and I couldn’t get it back on waste of money so reverted to watch it on a laptop via a stream until the end

 

good post but Bitton needs to cut out his challenges the hun in black is after him but I do rate him and think he is a very good passer of the ball and plays better in the centre of the park

Hard thought win but we've seen plenty similar games end 0-0. Should have been ahead within a few minutes and would have been a completely different game but got there in the end.

 

We are in the final and that is all that matters. We will have better days but we won. I think we are definitely missing Rogic at the minute; he has that bit of magic. Great to see Forrest back; a big game player. Can't wait until the final. As for St. Johnstone the less said the better. Bunch of thugs.

 

I want the Huns in the final, but he ho.

 

Aye got some great memories of beating them in the last League Cup final when big Julien scored. Although it wouldnt stop me laughing like * if they got pumped out by Hibs tomorrow.
