Could'nt agree more, he is desperate for a job because is stock is so low, he is not being chased by any clubs, his stock is low for a reason. If he came in he would try and "put his stamp" on us, mess up 10 in a row and dissapear if anyone did come in for him. lenny is a really safe pair of hands for 10 iar.

Look at the snakes last season, 24 wins 10 draws and 4 losses, we were'nt briliant, finished on 82 points, we are already on 81 points.

They're grown men. They were probably more * off at Rodgers, than gutted and "shell-shocked".

The number of excuses being made to absolve Lenny of any blame or criticism is absolutely staggering.

In fairness Forrest did use the word 'gutted' in regards to Rodgers' departure. Brown and KT also expressed similar sentiments about being 'devastated'. However appalling Rodgers behaved in regards to his exist, there is no doubt the players enjoying working with him, and that he significantly improved their game.

If anything that is all the more reason to look to a manager with similar attributes as Rodgers. We need to be getting the best out of our current players, particularly the really good ones, and Lennon is just not the man for that.

Exactly what I'm hoping for. Big job on their hands, whoever it is.

We need the board to get us a manager that can improve the team and take us up a level in Europe

Did you watch us this season and last season? We’re not playing very well just now but we had been through a lot of spells like this one or worse under Rodgers

Got Shved, Griffiths and Bayo to come in plus 4 quality signings we will be set imo, 5 if you want two CB's. The squad is too big too much deadwood like Compper, Allan, Biton that don't need replacing.

A win today, another dreadful performance.

Lennon still not willing to change things when it’s clearly not working, seems like Groundhog Day yet again.

He is not willing to learn from his mistakes and his tactics and subs have been weird.

I fear that Lawwell will appoint home regardless and this is what we will have next season.

I can’t see Lawwell giving him the money that’s needed to improve the squad, so expect more of the same.

Edit - I expect Lennon to be appointed when the league has been won. Just a feeling I have.

In fairness to Brian67, who is making these claim, he is definitely one of the most reliable ones over there. In fact, he's usually spot on with his info.

For example, he correctly predicted that Moyes would take over from Deila in June 2016.

Really hope Celtic are rigorously assessing new manager position and do not just appoint Lennon to save some cash. He was a very good servant but has had his day as is very evident with his latest short spell. We need someone with passion, vision and great footballing philosophy as well as being a true coach and mentor for players. Lennon barely left his chair the entire game yesterday offering nothing positive to the players on the park or to the fans in the stand. To me that was inexcusable especially on such a passionate and important occasion.
