Just watched the game back, seemed very nervous and hurt is still out for me, he needs to cut out the mistakes pronto or he will be the weak link in the game against the zombies.

Needs to sharpen up or he will struggle to get to grips with this league

I gave him the benefit of the doubt but watching a few games now he worries me.

Letting balls bounce, constantly getting too tight, holding, doesnt seem overly strong or quick.

We may have bought a dud here.

Hopefully he adapts to the pace of the Scottish game soon or he will struggle up here .

The 1st rule of being a CB is never letting the ball bounce.

Early days but he needs to improve, quickly.

Give the guy 10 games lads. Same people writing him off think Welsh is suddenly cannavaro having slaughtered him for the last few months.

I guess our expectations are high due to fee paid.
And right now, he is still finding his feet. Got to give him a run of games. Jury still out.

I'm happy to give him a run of games but when our team pays 4.5m on a player I expect a first xi player and so far nothing tells me we have one.

Think that’s an issue £4 million sounds a lot but it’s absolute * all nowadays. There are bang average players moving for tens of millions in England

It’s a lot of money to us that’s the point.

Think he's awrite. He's no as good as ambrose the GOAT, but he's learning and if he managed to get his chance in the net today I bet you would have seen him bloom. Plus it keeps Bitton out the backline.

I think that’s the point. It’s a lot of money for us to spend and he doesn’t look like he’s improving our defence.

    He's right though.

4m on a CB doesn't guarantee you much these days. Clubs competing in the CL spend 4m on a development player.

Truth is Starfelt looks and plays like a 4m player = some good attributes (strength, heading) but a lot of other attributes lacking.

Like, we spent 7m on Julien, who I am very happy to have at the club, but he's far from perfect either.

Still plenty of time for the lad to come right, but he’s looking pretty hopeless so far.

Some of the language being used to describe him is mental to me.

I get the clamber for instant opinions but there’s no context at all to just calling him a dud. He’s done nowhere near enough to be called a dud or any other iteration of that consensus based on a sample of * all.

I can't see him cutting it at CP too rigid and tense doesn't look a natural cb. he will do a job but is that enough for where we want our team to be under ange. don't want him dropped or punted but unless he rapidly improves whats the alternatives

Far too early to be writing him off, will take time to settle. Has only played a few games fs.

Hopefully comes good, plenty folks slating Turnbull before the last 2 games. Just needs to find his rhythm up here and defo stop letting the ball bounce. Basics.
