Caoimhin Kelleher

Didn’t realise he is coming up for 26, thought he was younger than that. So he is at an age where you would imagine he will want to play every week. He might see himself as the successor to Allison, but he is only 32 in October. So there’s a chance he could be number 1 for a few years yet. Then Kelleher would be 30 or near enough before becoming number 1. I still don’t think we get him, but if he has ambitions of playing week in week out, he really needs to move.

As soon as he got a run of games for Liverpool in the league his value would increase.

He looks a good keeper, but £25m is far too much. I can't see anyone paying that much for him.

This was always a * pipe dream.

 

Wouldn't write it off. He'll end up out on loan for a season because nobody is paying that amount for him yet.

 

Think it could only be pay 10 Million for a 5 year loan of him or something mental like that.

 

There's zero chance ANY club is paying 25m for him.

15 at a stretch. 25m is an absolute fantasy.

 

Im not even sure id want him for 5 million. Many better options out there imo. How many games he have in his career? 20? 25 mill

Not sure about that.. Man City sold 3 keepers that didn't make one first team appearance between them for combined fees of nearly 100m.

This lad has played in the first team for Liverpool winning trophies and is capped at international level and still very young, i think they will easily get 20 odd million for him.

 

Not exactly big news. We all knew with his profile and the games he has played for Liverpool and the outlandish prices players go for in the epl there is no chance we would be signing Kelleher.

Kelleher is looking to leave himself after getting a taste for regular first team football but Liverpool rate the Irish international around £35million and rejected half that from Nottingham Forest in January


The Reds would likely not stand in Kelleher's way if he did want to leave the club in search of a No 1 jersey elsewhere, though, with Forest just one of many clubs interested in securing his services. Celtic are very keen but would almost certainly be priced out of a move.


If Kelleher heads for the Anfield exit alongside Adrian, Liverpool will be in the market for a new goalkeeper

 

Imagine spending even a third of that on him, £35m, lol.

He still has 2 years left on his current Liverpool contract so my guess is he will likely move next summer as heading into the last year of his contract Liverpool will want some kind of decent fee for him. So even at that point no way will we be paying what would still likely be a fee of at least the kind we paid for Engels.

 

What he was thinking for that 2nd goal......I'll never know.
