He looks ok but he done the thing I hate most in central defenders, or in football in general for that matter.

    Gambled on the offside.

Just everycunt track their runner and we’ll be fine.

That goes for professional football, * football, and a game of fives.

Why people insist on letting runners go as if it’s * all does my head in. It’s your * man, no one else’s.

    Couldn't agree more.

Cant stand players taking that gamble.

And it is a gamble, unless the player has an overhead drone in the sky watching the line and feeding images through some sort of optic * synapses to his brain.

For those who are in love.....
    Lack of game time
Lack of understanding with his partner

I think he should be cut some slack..

If he had 10 game's under his belt with us, their 3rd goal doesn't happen (think it was the third where him and Starfelt got in each other's way and put it out for a corner)..

He has loads of attributes that we've lacked for a while

    Strong
    Bully in the challenge
Decent in the air. Seems to have a good leap
    Quite quick
Good with his distribution from the back

    I like him..

Aye he made the wrong choice there, should have matched the run.

As for the wider point of matching runs, it was the same with Starfelt for their third. Guy out on the left wing had so much time and space to pick his cross, I glanced at the striker who was in between our two centre halves and knew instantly what was going to happen. All he needed to do was make a wee run and he knew the ball was coming to his toe, but Starfelt didn't have the foresight to see it coming. Shockingly poor defending for that goal.

I was able to comment without watching the game. You just responded to it

Are you suggesting fans that live thousands of miles away are not allowed to comment on or ask questions about games they haven't seen?

How far away you are is immaterial - the game was played in Seville thousands of miles away from most fans.

You questioned why folk were impressed with our defenders without watching the game. Bizarre.

Like the look of him so far, he's still getting up to speed...maybe if he was fully firing he doesn't take the gamble with the offside and backs himself to defend it..

In both games so far he's shown good attributes, think we've found a good one in him. And him and Jullien is a partnership I'm looking forward to seeing.

On a similar note, something you see quite regularly in football is players letting the ball run out when they have plenty of time to keep it in, because they're assuming it's their throw in or corner. Quite often it goes the other way because no * is sure who it hit last.

Just keep the ball in instead of taking a complete gamble.

I simply wanted to know how the game went

If somebody was speaking about an event they seen on the news that you were interested in would you not ask about it if you hadn't seen it

What's bizarre here is is that you don't seem able to grasp what the point of asking a questions is

Aye I think he would compliment Jullien really well..

Both can play out from the back
Carter-Vickers is the stronger and quicker
Jullien more dominant in the air
Both are comfortable on the left or the right side of centre half
    Jullien more of a leader

We need him back fit and firing as quick as possible really..

What’s bizarre here is you attempted to slate others for having an opinion on something you hadn’t even watched. Mate.

Your comprehension skills are severely lacking

I wasn't slating anyone.I was simply curious as to how the game went as it doesn't sound like a run of the mill match if we have conceded four yet our backs are being lauded

And you have shifted the goalposts

Having an opinion on something you haven't seen isn't in anyway bizarre. Its possible, for instance to discuss WW2 without having had been there simply be reading accounts of those that were
