Calmac oozes class. He's filled the captains role well and back to his best. Shows what a good coach and plan can do for a person and team. A one club man definitely.

At any rate, if we/they bid for anyone from you/us it'll be Eddy, not Cal ffs. Obvious made up rumour.

 

Calmac has been superb this season. Miles better than last season where he was always playing backwards. This is much more like the player who played under BR. I hated CalMac from last season but this season he has been amazing to say the least. Even if he is to be sold if would be definitely be more than £7m, probably for even more than we got for Kieran Tierney.

 

Been excellent so far, as many have said, much improved from last season along with others. Certainly someone who could have brought in many times more his salary down south so I'm glad he's still here.

 

Honestly, before the Euros, I would have happily let him leave for £7m. It felt like years since we'd seen CalMac at his best. He frustrated me more than almost any other player because I knew he was capable of so much more. His fire had gone out.

After his performances for Scotland at the Euros, I decided to give him a second chance. And he has absolutely smashed my expectations. I can see him finishing this season with the Player of the Year gong.

He'll be worth triple what these rumours are stating by January if he keeps up this standard. But no way will we let our captain leave.

If £7m offer is true then it just shows how little the English know about our game. Pretty sure arsenals opening offer for Tierney was around the £10m mark and now he’s one of the first names on their team sheet.

 

This is the only * calmac you will get for 7 mill.

 

McGregor is probably the most valuable player in Scotland. 7 million might get his right boot.

Remember people said he wasn't captain material?

 

I was one of them! Proved me wrong big time... Think going from Scott Brown, who ticks all the captaincy boxes, some people were always going to have doubts.

 

His interceptions are so underrated, so many times last night just cuts into the passing lane and nicks the ball off them. Such a smart player and technically gifted, we all knew he was capable of being this good and it’s great to see.

 

What in the world man. One bad season man, the year before he was on track for 20 goals before they cancelled the * season. Was his best one yet.

 

There was plenty that would have been happy to see him sold. It was mental. McGregor is an outstanding footballer that suffered massively due being managed by a complete dinosaur in Lennon, and too often was trying to do the work of two players as Brown’s career come to an end with us, but the aforementioned dinosaur decided to continue to play him week in week out when he should have been a bit part player.

 

I was stunned with the amount of folk saying they’d let him go. You’d have to put some of those opinions down to sheer frustration at the season we had.

 

I honestly don't see us producing another midfielder like McGregor for a long, long time, boy is a phenomenal player.

Some of the thing's he said in the media/post match. The way he shirked tackles but would give away some of the most blatant and daft/costly one's after. Hid a fair bit..

I wanted him out for those reason's..
