I've been saying it for the better part of a year. You simply cannot depend on McGregor to show up for a battle. When the going gets tough he gets bypassed time and time again. I don't expect him to be flying around and crunching into challenges. But for * sake, have some sort of impact on the game. Never a captain, it is delusional to suggest otherwise.

I really did like McGregor for a while, but I wouldn't bat an eye if he left tomorrow looking at his form in the last 18 months.

Can't tackle, can't press, can't spray a long ball, and his ability to pass through the lines and create has completely deserted him.

Overrated like mad by a fair few on here. "Best player in Scotland". "Most talented Scottish player". "Consistent"

Are we watching the same guy here? :43:

Lost count of how many times he has sold the jerseys this season and been responsible for conceding goals

At loss to describe the utter regression of this guy. The talk of him being a captain is frightening. At this moment in Time, he's lucky to be in the starting 11.

Don't care what anyone says he is a * shitebag *..

Goes hiding. Passes the buck. Back's out of challenges..

This is the guy we're pinning our hope's on? As our next leader? Don't make me * laugh..

The wee * can * off out the door in the summer as well..

If Rodgers genuinely wants him in the summer, we should be selling him.

I think he's in the same camp as Christie and Edouard in that he wants to go, only difference with him is he has a longer contract.

Anything over 15 million and we need to sell. Build the new team around Turnbull and Soro.

Totally agree, mate. I’ve long said on here that he shouldn’t be captain.

Today, he was not helped at all by Brown and also Christie, leading to him having to cover 3 positions at times, but even so, every time he’s been under pressure this season, he’s wilted.

    He is never a captain.

He doesn't have the personality to impose himself.

He would be a great signing for Leicester City I would take £15 million.

Wasn't helped at all isn't why he gave the ball away that led to their first, or why he shites out of tackles, or where he gets flustered and plays freekicks right to hun attacker's by the halfway line..

Aye he might have to do am extra bit but what I've seen is a guy who isn't comfortable doing the dirty work. Isn't willing even..

When it gets tough. He folds..

He's a *. Talks a good game though. Especially when he's throwing other's under the bus..

Aye, absolutely mate. I was agreeing with you; just trying to offset any replies from people who would try to defend him using the excuse that he was put under pressure. I’m saying, even that considered, there’s no way he should get away with shirking responsibility as he does.

When he first came on the scene under Ronnie I never rated him. He did improve over the years but has now gone back closer to the days under Ronnie. The team is a mess currently so is very hard to judge were everyone is currently. Going forward he needs to improve

He was a breath of fresh air when he first broke through, then hardly kicked a ball after that until Rodgers came in. He was excellent in 2016/17 and 2017/18. Then in Rodgers' last season his form dropped off before he picked it back up again in the run in after Dubai.

Since then he's been rotten. Very inconsistent.
