Youngster playing in a side which isn't performing. Started off brightly but has struggled in the last few games. This is when the senior players should be helping him on but at this point they're also struggling.

Too early to dismiss his capabilities.

 

Stokes did? Go look at your stats again buddy, I think you'll find he scored much more after signing his new contract last season...

 

don't think hes ever going to be a great player, even when he was playing well he just seemed one dimensional, can see him at Dundee in the next few years or another similar team

 

Stokes, watt and samaras all scored after signing new deals, put that in your stat nut ..

 

It's really not helped when he's no support from the full backs. Ambrose might get up there but doesn't have the skills or position sense to support the wingers.

 

Been one of the few shinning lights this season, played a lot tho..

This is due to all wingers being injured or unfit..

He is a CM and would be best suited in a central role!

 

I think this also, he played a lot better on the right when Lustig was there with him. To be fair I think Lustig makes everyone look good though... maybe not Efe:smiley-laughing002:

He's never a centre mid..

 

He has been one of our better players so far this season, no doubt about that. One thing that let's him down I feel though is his decision making. He wants to shoot too often in my opinion. I won't be too critical, because at least he is prepared to have a go, but even yesterday, there was a point when Commons gave him a roasting for not passing it. It's bad when Commons is getting on to you for shooting too much, because he is another that is guilty of this at times I feel.

 

They are without doubt the 2 greediest players in our team right now, verges on ridiculous at times the amount of times they go for goal when the better pass is on..

I know it's crazy but seriously I think our team is struggling when both these guys are on the pitch, at the moment they are just simply to * greedy the team can deal with one player of that nature in the 11 but not 2.

Thing is their greediness is the only silver lining at the moment because it is where the goals are coming from, BUT I still feel their positives do not outweigh the negatives of the teams performances of late.

 

When was the last time you seen a 21 year old come from the brink of being sold to hold his place in the team like mcgregor has? I think its crazy how overly critical people have been of him, he has a better touch and technique than any player in the team and he keeps the ball better than every single one of them. Mcgregor is only going to get better he'll get a lot better and can iron out some of the flaws in his game, this is a £10m pound player

I think his decision making is generally pretty good, but the last 3 games or so he has been too greedy at times. Maybe he's choking for a goal, I don't know, but he needs to definitely improve on that front. Commons and Stokes are way too greedy as it is, we don't need another one.

 

There like playing pro and going on one man runs and shooting, probably get a better goals to game ratio on the computer though..
