    Don't get me wrong I like him and he shows real desire but putting a shot in every time he gets onto the edge of the box isn't the answer all the time.

    We had 3 players behind the striker there today who are all quite shot hungry in general, would be nice if we had someone able to thread a pass more often than not, to mix it up a bit. I can understand why folk might be frustrated slightly.

    It's not, once he gets it he'll calm down a wee bit and play his own game. Should of had it today, perfectly good goal got ruled offside.

    They have come off for him more often than not in the last 18 months. He's probably been our best player so far this season so I'll spare him the vitriol (Not that you were doing that, more a match thread thing).

    I'm trying to find positives about him but I'm far from convinced that he deserves to be an automatic starter.

    i think thats a tad harsh if im honest, he was the bright spark when all else looked dull, agree now that we have more depth, a little spell on the sidelines would help, but i do think he deserves his place up until now

    He doesn't have the fitness yet to be an automatic started, I'd start him mostly in games where he has a greater chance of getting goals.
