Unreal the turnaround we've seen with McGregor. When he had his incident with the drink driving I like the majority of people thought the writing was on the wall with regards to his career here. Couldn't see him continuing especially as BR would have been bringing players in.

Testament to his character and determination to improve and show himself as one of our most reliable players whenever called upon. He could have an Armstrong type season if he continues to apply himself and builds on this start to the season. If he does he will be undroppable.

He's starting to be the complete MF almost. Just needs to brush up on his tackling a bit more if he's going to play in the middle of the park.

If he can compose himself in front of goal a bit more at a higher level too as we seen away at BMG next season then he would be a first pick every week I think. Tidy player.

Glad he is proving his doubters wrong and showing what a great player he is when his confidence is high. Keep it up :shamrock:

Totally over used cliche but, genuinely, if he was from Europe he'd be held in higher regard.

He has a single bad game, even in a * friendly such as Lyon, then folk write him off.

All you'll ever hear about McGregor his entire Celtic career is 'we can do better'. If he continues putting in the performances he's capable of then for me we don't need never mind should want 'better'.

We're a better team with Callum in it. Knows what it means to play for the club and never hides.

Hes underrated, even by managers we face, which is a handy tool to have.

Aye I'm really beginning to take to him.

I was excited when he came back from Notts County a few year back and then he faded and became frustrating. Really maturing into an excellent allround midfielder now, though.

A product of our Academy as well, so that always aids his cause.

    Hopefully.

The more I see Henderson play, I'm beginning to think he's just pish.

Watching the likes of Armstrong, Ntcham and Eboue - they are proper athletes. Henderson just looks so slow and unfit compared to them.

Is Henderson a dm or what? Genuinely can't remember a stand out moment from him for us. I think hibs is his level.

At the start of this season I held McGregor in the same bracket as him, but he's shown he is an ideal Rodgers player, hard worker, versatile, always linking up with play and looking for the ball.

McGregor just had a fantastic season and contributed immensely in all compititions.
Henderson is nowhere near McGregor's level.

I wonder if he'll get the striker role if Griff doesn't make it.

I've not been his biggest fan but improved hugely last season (still think he shouldn't be used in a more deeper role as can be sloppy and has no defensive skills for me) and maybe this season will push on. I think Armstrong and Rogic are way ahead of him, but if Armstrong leaves then another space is available.

He's better in the hole. That was the prob on wed. Pushing rogic into a role he was not familiar with and looked like a fish out of water. If griff is not fit, BR has two choices imo. Sinclair upfront or aitchison.

I'd start mcgregor and leave rogic on bench. I think he's a very good impact player off the bench.
