    Has had a lot of doubters, most of my m8's included.

    I've always enjoyed watching McGregor though, very direct and tenacious. Reminds me of a Jack Russel chasing a ball - relentless energy and always seems very happy doing what he does.

    I'm not a fan of his long shots but one on one with a keeper, I'd put my wages on him scoring.

    BR has developed him superbly, not only is he capable of injecting some tempo going forward he can now play reasonably well in a withdrawn midfield role.

    He's a first pick for me, tough fight against Tom and Stuart tho.

    :: just to add on, I'd drop Jamesy for CM going into the RBK game. I don't anticipate they'll come out, so pace is pretty much useless when your playing 20 yards from their goal.

    Never understood why he's not rated here. He's better than Armstrong for me and that guys snubbing a new contract from us.

    Brendan has an embarrassment of riches in midfield especially when you consider the performance of McGregor and Kouassi today. Both were excellent.

    Think the only criticism you can have of McGregor is he's 24 and last season was the only one he's really performed well, fair play to him but proving his doubters wrong, me included, still think he could be more clinical at times finds himself in good positions as teams tend to focus on our wingers leaving space in the centre but anyway good performance today from what I've seen of it:50:

    ally like Cally. More industry and talent and guile than he gets credit for. A bit like Leon Osman at Everton. Similar player too. Hopefully like Ossie he ends up a 1 club man.
