He's definitely useful. Just a very frustrating player at time's. Very lightweight, slow in possession and on the burst, decision making can leave a lot to be desired also..

Good impact player at time's, can come up with neat assists like Caley at home, can score a worldy and can be tidy on the ball..

For me, the likes of Armstrong have left him for dead. Two different type player's (vying for that last spot) but who were very evenly matched until recently.... Maybe even McGregor the favoured..

Yeah i think that's fair comment, i must be honest Armstrongs improvement has really surprised me, it does take a squad effort over the course of a season, and at least McGregor has made a decent contribution, i accept that he's limited in terms of ability.

    Same..

The thing is, McGregor probably has better natural technical ability than Armstrong, but that's nowhere near enough..

Under rated player. Has good ability technically and is creative and a goal threat. The next best thing we have in terms of a playmaker when Tom Rogic isn't on the pitch .

Definitely one i can see having a big future here.

Like most he had a shaky first half hour, but thought he was excellent for the rest of the game.

Our midfield 3 were just a class above theirs. The difference in quality showed.

Was anonymous for first 20 but did quite well after that. If Rogic had been playing I doubt the first 20 woukd have happened like that. McGregor is okay but way behind Rogic

Don't think anyone is doubting that, but he was in to do a job and he did that.

Didn't think he was great tbh, played a great through ball to Sinclair first half but apart from that I'm struggling to think of many other big moments in the match from him. Also had a guilt edged opportunity first half on his stronger foot and skied it over the bar.

Still think keeping Commons as an option behind the striker when Rogic is out would be a better option than letting McGregor fill in.

Better in the second half but I'm just not a fan of him.

Thought he did well in the second. Won a few balls in our half, linked up well with Broony and Armstrong a few times as well. Nothing outstanding, but he did his job.

Yep , and has been for some time. He was our best player in the later stage of last season and got little to no recognition for it. Boy has tons of ability and played some cracking passes today .

The sooner we sign a midfielder the better so he goes back to being a bit part player. I don't like criticising players when they haven't really done a wrong but he consistently does the bare minimum and that's not enough in places where we are going.

He was good second half but was really out his depth in that more advanced role. He won't be starting games like this when we have more depth in our squad.

He's definitely grown on me this season, but I still don't think there's enough about him to ever warrant a starting spot assuming everyone is fit, but he came in and did a job today and that's all you can ask of a squad player.

I'd take him over Bitton in the midfield every time, which isn't something I thought I'd say. But hopefully sign someone better than both this month or in the summer.

I like him. I don't think he'll ever be a mainstay in the starting eleven but he's more than capable of filling in when needed.

Had no worries about him today and other than a quiet first 20 minutes I thought he played pretty well.
