If the £6m has any truth to it (which i doubt it does) i would punt in an instant, thats a big fee and big wages off the bill.

I agree Brown had his best season for us last season, but i still am not convinced he is worth 25k per week, nor do i think he should be captain, BUT if he progresses as much again this season then hopefully he will prove me wrong.

Good news if he signs a new deal and great to hear that he wants to stay because he loves life under Lennon :50:

Good news I was mega impressed with him last season and he was starting to look like a Celtic captain. He shouldn't be played in the middle as he hasn't got the footballing brain or accurate passing but he's brilliant on the right with the pace and aggression.

If you offered me £3m for him this time last year I'd have been delighted but Lenny has really got the best out of him.

I love Broony and hope he stays, but if we get a bid of £6 million we'd be daft not to take it. I'd just hope it went on new players if we did sell.

    £6m is incredibly tempting.

But Lennon has been getting the best out of Broony, and we need Scottish lads in the team. It's not a bad thing to have a fiery character in the side.

If we get a decent offer for him I'd take it tbh, as good a season as he had I think we can do better for the kind of money we're talking here, he's a workhorse and gives 100% but is still quite a limited player.

Contracts mean nothing in football. Certainly not if he stays or goes. The only thing that is for sure is that Celtic can cash in for him for the next several years in case a club wants to buy him.

I predict him to stay one more year to win the SPL and then move down south. Thanks to the contract extension Celtic will get money for him.

Yeah, I agree. Every player eventually wants the move South I suppose. Similar to the Petrov contract at the time.

Don't know about that Broony seems to geniunely love it here and he is our captain. He knows there's nowhere else he will win trophies, there may be such a thing as loyalty in the game still.
