i'd go for kayal. i dont hate brown but i'm not his biggest fan, he goes into to every possible tackle and gives away a free kick a lot of the time. Kayal has a little bit less commitment but he is more sensible in the challenges he goes into and wins the ball most of the time. also, we saw in the old firm game that he isnt scared to shoot from range which is good for us.

Need to see more of Kayal and Brown has been good since he came back but if Kayal is consistently as good as he was today then it has to be him :50:

I'd play both while Ki is away. I've been disappointed by Ledley although great performance today I think Brown and Kayal offer more than Joe so far. It's great to have the competition!:shamrock:

I like Brown actually, but I'm in the process of painting Kayal's face onto my pillow...I love him.

Before today I would have said Brown, but as someone else said on another thread, Kayal done today what Brown does but much much better! Just hope that Kayal can play like that in games against teams like st mirren, st johnstone etc!

I think Kayal is a much more technically sound player and they both have that aggressive * streak thats needed in this squad, the difference is Kayal doesn't make it as obvious as Broon. Kayal knows how to get under the opponents skin, you could tell today that the entire Huns team just wanted to punch Kayal in the face.

Kayal! Simply because of their footballing brain.

Brown - Knows we have won the game, and an old firm game next on the bill he makes a daft jumping tackle whilst on a yellow card. No thought about his team or team mates.
PLus in old firm games, hes gets involved and makes stupid mistakes giving the referee an opportunity to send him off.

Kayal - very smart blocking players and making it look like they ran into him. Tough but smart tackler, and was cautious once on a booking without losing that grit and fight for the ball.

Kayal and brown would be a solid midfield though, but If I had to chose its kayal EASILY

entirely predictable that even when Broony doesnt play some people would find a way of bashing him in a round about way. Absurb when you consider that a Broony-Kayal partnership might work very well (like a Burley-Lambo combination) and actually for the first time in years allow Broony to play a box to box role. The guy who needs dropping is Ledley. He has across the season been very dissapointing. Ki is better than Ledley IMO but he is a tricky player to fit into that Lambo-Burley type system.

    This is an easy one.

Brown has passion but it gets him sent off.

Kayal has passion but HE HAS A BRAIN.

Quote me if you agree ;)

P.S. He was excellent today; bossed the midfield... like a boss.

Kayal all day. And all of the night.

He has the dig, enthusiasm and energy that Brown has, plus he has a wicked long pass, PLUS he has the self-control that Broon lacks. Plus he can just... play football.

I have been banging on about him being our best player for some time now, and I think today was good evidence in support of this. He MUST start the next game.
