    MAGNUM OPUS


    2017 is upon us, so it's time to get the party started once again!

    Or considering we have all been in a festive mood, with Xmas, Hogmanay & a Hunskelping, let's keep the party rolling! lol

    For this coming competition it will be something unlike anything that has been before in BotB. Only fitting to celebrate the TENTH installment! Who knew it would still be kicking? Thanks to everyone that has taken part in this competition in the past, and hope that this next theme will appeal to many more!

    Theme

    The theme is going to make this competition a little more unique from all of it's predecessors in that while everyone is still only going to represent one artist, you are also going to be restricted this time to just using 1 album for the majority of this competition.

    What does this mean? Well, for starters, apart from the first round of this competition, (and should you make it all the way to the final) you will need to rely on songs that come from the same studio album by your selected artist.

    Rules

    There is only allowed to be 1 person per artist as per usual, so at this point I am happy to accept nominations of artists on a first come first served basis, and you can advise of your chosen album afterwards, if you so wish.

    Any artist is eligible, including previous winners.

    For the purposes of this competition, your nominated album will need to contain at least 8 songs.

    Throughout the competition there will be NO criteria rounds, only what you think will get you through to the next stage.

    For the first round, you will be able to select any song from any album by your chosen artist, and as always, should you make the final, you will need to nominate songs from a number of albums, including one from your nominated album.

    When it comes time to select individual songs for each round you can select live or alternative versions of songs, but the original must have been featured on your chosen nominated studio album.

    Oh should have mentioned, am looking at getting this started on Thursday next week. That should give everyone plenty of time to select ans artist, select an album, but also to noinate your first round song.

    Remember, for Round 1, your song pick can be anything from any album by your artist; it does not need to be restricted to your nominated album.
