    Ok then, let's crack on with another.

    The 80s are a period close to my heart and a time when music saw an incredible amount of genres and trends kicking about.

    New wave, synth pop, glam metal, electronic, hip hop, and of course a few Pop legends dominating the charts.

    What's your pick? This BOTB has some amount of flexibility in your artist, all I ask is that every song that is submitted throughout the duration should be from the 80s.

    A group stage and then knockout rounds, no repeats of any songs chosen, and you, the jury dishing out votes on your peers.

    My inbox is open on a first come first served basis. Two ineligible artists are REM and AC/DC, our finalists from the previous BOTB.

    Should be straightforward enough, and will look to kick off this weekend, so get in touch you lovely people...
