    Thought it was *. All the staged bits were pish, and all they people he tried to bam up were either in on it or didn't give a *.

    The only famous * he went after were pence, who he didn't get near, and guliani. It was mostly noising up normal people trying to do their jobs who didn't give a *.

    Fair enough he done guliani but it's not even as bad as it got made out to be. If it's wrong to get excited because a 23 year old east european actress is leading you on then I don't want to be right.

    I was really looking forward to this but I barely laughed once during the whole film and I don't think I'll ever watch it again. Not a patch on the first one.

    I think the main difference for folk that loved the first one will be the age you were tbh. The immaturity was easier to digest 14 year ago.

    It was exactly as it was billed IMO. The Pence and Giuliani stunts are as high profile as you could get just now barring Trump himself.

    Aye probably. I just feel like everybody recognised him this time and they were just rolling they're eyes going "aye nae bother Borat".

    I think the most glaring difference would be the redneck guys he lives with during the pandemic, they were clearly in on it and knew they were being in a Borat film. Whereas the redneck types he goes camping with in Bruno were genuinely getting wound up by him to the point you thought they might actually just batter him.

    I don't think it has the realness of the first film and Bruno, which was the catalyst for a lot of the humour in those films. The staged jokes playing on old fashioned stereotypes were more of a slideshow then, to give the character a bit of a back story. In the new film it relies on them too much as he wasn't really able to catch anyone out as much.
