There’s obviously a reason as to why he’s been nowhere near the squad, minus his cameo appearance, and I’m going to trust the manager’s decision on that. Best for all parties that he departs.

 

Went on loan to Istanbul Basaksehir and even played in the CL for them last season, yet we still can't seem to shift this guy out the door permanently, same with Barkas, frustrating

 

With Scales showing he is a capable enough back up at left back and Taylor serviceable for now there is no reason not to sell Bolingoli if we can find a buyer.

 

If he doesn't go and no one is brought in, start him on Wednesday..

He is miles and I mean miles ahead of what we have there..

 

No he’s really, really not. He’s * awful and people are forgetting just how awful because he’s barely been seen.

I'd like better but he * all over Taylor and Scales..

When he was thrown back in at Fir Park he was excellent. Coming in to midfield and his pace, stamina and energy to bomb up and down all game was noticeable..

 

His ability on the ball and decision making is * shocking. As is his positioning and ability to defend, he’s * awful mate.

 

It is a bit strange how little time he's got this season. I don't rate him but he was good against Motherwell and Taylor was out injured for Months, not to mention Scales wasn't considered the first few months either.

Guessing there's an attitude problem behind the scenes.

Taylor gives it away a lot mate. Today he came on and tried to turn and was so weak and slow that he * it, no once, no twice but on three different occasions..

Scales had a mare..

I honestly hand on heart don't think Boli is the answer....but for me he is much better than Taylor, who looks to be our number one left back..

 

Boli has pace also, duno why hes been bombed out.

Id rather him up against diallo than taylor tbh.

 

It's clearly down to his attitude or some fallout, rather than him being a 4th best option..

I actually feel sorry for Boli. Don’t know why he’s been ostracised right enough.

 

Celtic defender Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo is in talks over a loan move to Russian Premier League side FC Ufa, Football Insider understands.

The 26-year-old is well down the pecking order at Celtic and they are happy to let him move on as he does not figure in Ange Postecoglou’s plans going forward.



A Celtic source has told Football Insider the club have given the green light to Bolingoli-Mbombo securing an out-of-window move.



The Belgian left-back has made just two appearances this season for Celtic, with his last outing coming in the win at Motherwell in October.




He played at left-back in both of his outings this term and also completed the full game on both occasions.

Bolingoli-Mbombo joined the Hoops from Club Brugge in July 2019 but has never been a regular starter.


He has only made 31 appearances for the Glasgow giants but still has two Premiership titles to his name.


During his first season at the club, he only started 14 league games after falling out of favour during the second half of the season.

Last season he was loaned to İstanbul Başakşehir and made 18 appearances in all competitions.

His current Celtic deal is set to expire in the summer of 2023.

On 23 October, Celtic icon Frank McAvennie told Football Insider Bolingoli-Mbombo should start more games as he was the best option his former side had at the time.




FA Ufa currently occupy 15th place in the Russian Premier League which is second from bottom.

The division’s transfer window does not close until 22 February, allowing them to pursue a move for Bolingoli.
