This is a Forum for Celtic Supporters, and supporters of other clubs who prove themselves worthy of our company, to discuss all matters that involve Celtic and anything else that we are interested in talking about inside and outside of football. Read this entire message before considering entering. It'll be better for all of us.

Please use what is considered standard forum etiquette at all times. For example, do not use CAPS LOCKS or bold as makes you look like you are shouting at people. Do not use text speak because we have member who do not speak English as their first language and they would have a hard time deciphering your posts.

If you are starting a new thread, first find the specified or most suitable forum for it and then post it. Do not start up a unrelated discussion in the middle of another thread, it causes confusion and ruins the thread, e.g. Asking who Celtic should sign in the middle of a discussion about season tickets.

This is a forum for football supporters. Without meaning to generalise, football supporters as a group are not renowned for being easily offended by bad language. You'll also find we have a tendency to use * loads of it a lot of the * time. Deal with it.

This site does NOT tolerate the following:-
    • Racism
    • Sexism
    • Sexual Harassment
    • Ageism
    • Flaming
    • Trolling
    • Bigotry
    • Sectarianism
    • Other forms of Discrimination
These subjects can be discussed in a general manner if the people that are talking about it are being mature about it. Because people can feel very strongly about these subjects, staff will monitor these threads very closely and will close them at the first sign of trouble because of our past experiences with these threads. If you have nothing sensible to add to any discussion or if you feel you can't control yourself when talking about it then don't bother posting. Threads about Politics will be treated in the same manner for the same reasons.

Staff cannot read anyone’s PM’s but if we receive a complaint about abuse or a breach of the rules that someone has received, we will act swiftly and harshly. We hate sneaks.

Remember that its your responsibility for what you post, its up to you to make sure that people don’t interpret your post the wrong way, i.e. the above bullet points. How you intended a post and how it is interpreted are two very different things sometimes and we’ll moderate on how it was interpreted.

This forum isn’t shy about discussing * material and in the case of minors, it is not the responsibility of the staff if they read material that is not intended for them, its up to the parents to monitor their children’s internet usage, not us.

We do encourage that members mark threads in the thread title, that have * material with “**NSFW**”. This means not safe for work and generally this is a good indicator that it isn’t suitable for minors either but again if threads aren’t marked in this manner we cannot be held responsible if you get into trouble in work but we will punish people that don’t mark images or videos that could get people into trouble in work.

Signatures have a dimension and file size limit for several good reasons. We have to consider people on narrow bandwidth and we’d like to get more than your post and signature onto one page. The dimensions are 300 x 100 or 50kB (whichever is smaller). If requesting a sig there is a minimum of 50 posts to be able to make a request and make sure that these limits are used, any larger and TC staff reserve the right to remove it and take any other action if deemed necessary.

Advertising is strictly prohibited, unless with explicit permission from TC Staff. If you want to advertise something, make sure you contact TC Staff beforehand. Any adverts placed without our permission will be removed, and the person posting them banned immediately.

Some threads are clearly started without thought and/or not clear to anybody what they are trying to say. This isn’t opportunity to act the fool and break the rules, it will not be tolerated by staff at all. Ask the person to rephrase his post or report it to staff for moderation.

If someone starts a thread with flaming a person or trolling about Celtic (i.e. acting a Hun) etc, there is a “report abuse” function under the avatar of the guilty party. By using that you’ll get the attention of all the staff and will get the fastest response from us.

The above rules apply to Gold Members in the very same way they apply to Regular Members, you will not be given any favouritism by any staff member just because you've donated to the site. While we appreciate your donation, the rules apply to everyone equally for fairness reasons.

New users, it's best to read the forum for a bit before contributing. It'll keep everyone sweet. And when you do post, introduce yourselves early on, it will give us an idea of who you are and why you're here. You'll find the regulars more welcoming that way.

Administrators and Moderators have the right to use their powers as they see fit. Staff are in the best position to observe members on the forum and apply the rules, and in most situations will have conferred with each other before banning someone. Questioning the staff decision on the public forum isn’t allowed at any time, infractions will be issued.

Finally, in order to make this forum work, the admin and mod team will sterilise threads that, in their opinion, serve no use. These include personally abusive, grotesquely off-topic and desperately surreal threads. This is not a democracy. This is a semi-benevolent dictatorship. Behave.

These rules can be changed or updated at ANY time without notice.
