The board probably don't see 10IAR in the same light as us. We see it as history being made and all the rest of it. They will see it as something they need to be seen as trying to help achieve by making funds available for strengthening. Because they know if they do anything less and it goes * up, then you could be talking about twenty thousand less season ticket sales.

it doesnt matter a * what lennon says about transfers ,he has no say in it for the past number of years we have spent about half of what we have brought in so its realistic to assume £30 million will be generated from player sales if not before tuesday then definitly in january. achievment or making history have never come into it with the lawwel and co

You come across as if you want that to happen because you always say he is off 100% and Celtic won't turn down a half decent offer; you want to be proved right.

Being fair the issue wasn’t bringing in players as we spent £5.5m on these it was our scouting and selection of targets Boli was brought in quickly but anyone that knows football could see he was a donkey. It really is up there with the Bangura and Amido Balde signings. Greg Taylor was a panic buy when Boli was a diddy and because we left it too late to do anything.

Like Klimala, Taylor doesn’t really fit what we need in a player. In terms of scouting it makes me question why we sign these players. We scouted some decent options in Pernaud and Meiling (possibly others) who would have been better fits and at better value. It may have been the players didn’t fancy it.

You only need to look at the senior players out on loan just now Bayo, Shved, Hendry, and Boli which represents £8.5-9m of signings who have made no positive impact and we will be lucky to get half that back amongst them.

I am glad to see this season we seem to be signing a better calibre of player. However, there are still plenty of opportunities to sign good prospects from lesser leagues and have a positive impact before being sold for profit but our scouting of these leagues and targets as well as getting the deal done needs to improve.

On bonus incentives they are already there not far short of the £5m, our wage bill is between £3-4m lighter if we don’t get CL football. It may be slightly less now Rodgers is gone as I am sure he had a big bonus which NL won’t get. It might well be these bonuses are causing the players to crumble under the pressure.

Do folks realise that the club is haemorrhaging money right now (and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future)!?

Not just a wee bit... not just a fair bit... our ongoing losses are * massive.

This isn't a minor inconvenience. We're going through our hard-won savings at a ridiculous rate of noughts.

Keeping the team that we currently have together -and coming out of the other end of the Covid crisis with something that resembles a profitable business - will be a major achievement in itself.

Clubs WILL go to the wall soon, and the landscape of Scottish fitba WILL look very different come the end of the season.

Rangers died because they obsessively chased us, and I strongly suspect that their tribute act will launch another suicide mission to stop the 10IAR. Well, woopi-*-doo! Fill your boots and * go for it Zombie-nation!

Gambling for the 10, or gambling with our very future... FOR A LEAGUE COMPETITION THAT COULD COLLAPSE AT ANY POINT? Sorry, but if you're leaning towards the former, then you're a * moron! Similarly, if you can't see the danger looming by not having gate-receipts, then you have your head in the sand.

This season MORE THAN EVER needs clever management from the Board.

And no - I'm not saying it's a choice between 10IAR and 'a future' - we already have the players to win the League (if it gets played to completion... and thats a * huge IF).

    Hail Hail!

Great window, no ifs no buts, thanks DD, our board and our scouting network, the last is really paying dividends, remember congerton and being scared who they were leaving us with just to receive some back hander, even in kind (only explanation or maybe he was was just a * judge of a player & unable to read, about players recent ongoing injury problems) again, THANKS CELTIC

I think the fact that Neil Lennon was given the manager's job should have indicated to you long ago that the board were happy to gamble with the possibility of not doing 10IAR. It told me all I needed to know.
