Big Bang Theory

Plenty of great American comedies don't do this, American comedy doesn't begin and end with the utter diarrhoea that Chuck Lorre * into creation.

 

Absolutely love Big Bang Theory, must have seen about every episode about five times over. It's on E4 most nights and I rarely miss it to be honest. I've seen all the new series before it even comes on TV as well because I watched them all on one channel.

Sheldon cracks me up.

Penny is gorgeous, Leonard is one lucky *.

It's like the writers are not even making an effort. It's as bad as Two and a Half Men and that's saying something.

 

Pretty much sums it up for me, Girlfriend loves it but.

 

I would sook the * oot her *.

 

Everyone liked the first episode, then you realise it's a film about nerds, and nerd culture, for non-nerds. they make it sound clever, when infact it's * stupid, repetitive and moronic. The first episode makes it look original, but jesus, is it dull as *. Oh hey, Penny, someone just said something sounding clever!! LAUGHLAUGHLAUGH I don't know what you mean LAUGHLAUGHLAUGH -complex explanation- LAUGH LAUGHLAUGH -blank look-/joke about lack of * LAUGHLAUGHLAUGH etc.

 

I think its entirely plausible that 2 and a Half Men, Big Bang Theory, How I met your Mother, 2 Broke Girls, Mike and Molly, Any other brain dead American sitcom are written by the same crowd of people.

Only ones ive ever found funny were Frasier, Cheers and on occasion, Scrubs.

The only comedies that ive seen produced in the last 15 years or so that I like are South Park, Family guy, Trailer Park Boys and the Thick of it to be honest.

 

How many episodes did you watch to come to that conclusion?

 

All the pish about canned laughter is obviously coming from people who have watched 3 minutes of the show and think they are experts.

The show is filmed in front of a live studio audience and if there is laughter every other minute it's because it's a very funny show.

 

I like it. Like a lot of comedies that run for a few seasons however, there's a lot of filler jokes that get re-used from show to show.

That said when on form it can be very funny.

 

I never used to like it though it grew on me and I don't mind it these days!

It's certainly not the best show on tv though neither is it the worse!

 

Well the laughter sounds very forced, which is understandable when youre watchingnthis unfunny, american pish.

 

I used to kinda like but now I really can't be arsed with it.

I do like How I met your Mother though.

 

That really is the extent of the jokes on that show, and "oh look how close raj and howard are" and "howard fancies himself as a ladies man", ha * ha.

 

How much did you watch to come to this conclusion?

 

You criticise pretty much every popular tv show. You some type of comic genius or something?

 

i'm a physicist, and to be frank i think the show is a little shallow and relies on stereotypes too heavily to draw cheap laughs from the crowd. give me IT crowd any day of the week

 

Best telly show on telly! Seen every single episode and i love it, just such easy watching and it can be hilarious.

 

Enough to come to a conclusion.
