About a hundred of them pocketing a wage out of talking constant * that makes no sense to anyone watching the game..
    Doughnuts..

Best- Hamann (tells it like it is unlike most English pundits)
Neville (Unbiased, good knowledge of the game)

Worst- Redknapp (everyone is a great player never gives players proper stick)
    Hansen (just a complete gobshite)

Don't mind Glenn Hoddle. Think he's quite honest and likes to see football played the right way.

Gary Neville is the best for me based purely on his knowledge of the game and that he doesn't talk complete *. His analysis pre, half-time and post match is also very good.

Cannot stand Michael Owen. He has the same dire tone from the 1st minute to the last and doesn't make the game any more exciting. Stephen Craigan as well does my nut in.

John Hartson I like, especially on MOTD.

Don't like Sutton or Peter Grant, far too biased.Pretty sure they are only ever on for Celtic games anyway.

I actually think Tyldesley is quite good, I don't even mind Townsend that much. They sound somewhat professional.

It's the BBC ones who annoy me, they're all so boring and dull, and hype up absolutely everything. It's like the stuff you'd hear from a guy at the pub. Jonathan Pearce hurts me ears. Lawrenson, Hansen, Savage, Mills, Dublin, Keown are all so * awful. Shearer I think has improved slightly, but he's a lump of coal in a mound of *. Only half decent beeb one I can think of is Nevin.

Worst commentator of all is Owen. I slip into a dribbling coma everytime I hear him.

Neville and Carragher are the best pundits. Tyler best commentator.

Does Garth Crooks still do punditry for the BBC? That guy grinds my gears big time as well.

There's some good ones who don't get a lot of time on BBC such as Danny Murphy, whilst Alan Shearer somehow gets on every week.
Got a lot of time for Hansen, talks sense and knows about defending, even if he is a bit old fashioned, unlike Lawrenson, who thinks it's funny to be painfully negative.
Often the foreign pundits are the best, as they're less bias and not used to the status quo of lame pundits.
Not a pundit, but Roberto Martinez has been on match of the day a few times and is always excellent, talks well, understands the game, praises often un-noticed players, and is a funny man too.

Was it Leonardo who used to do punditry for the BBC at the World Cup? He was good if it was

"To score goals at this level (World Cup) you have to put the ball in the back of the net" - Alan Shearer.

The man's footballing erudition knows no bounds.

G.Souness, G.Neville, J.Carragher, G.Marcotti, J.Richardson, R.Gullit and G.Hoddle stand out to me. They're either players who have done it at the very top level or are respected journalists.

Can't stand guys like C.Kamara, he's just a clown and contributes nothing that an average supporter wouldn't know. Put R.Savage, M.Bright, P.Merson in the same category.
