    The Sopranos

But just got caught up on all the Boardwalk Empire series 3 episodes the last couple of days there and it has the potential to be the best show ever. Can`t wait for series 4 and it also has the potential to go on for another 5 or 6 series

Need a suggestion for a new series to watch guys:icon_mrgreen:

My favourite programmes are ones that aren't set in modern day times or based on reality. For example my favourite two series' are The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones. Also been watching Ripper Street which I'm really enjoying.

    Any suggestions?

Funnily enough it's set just after Jack the Ripper was out and about:50:

And I said I prefer progammes not set in modern day times.
I watched seasons 1 and 2 and some of 3, of Boardwalk Empire but I just lost interest.

    Cheers though.

The Sopranos. Been through the boxset 5 times since the Christmas before last. It's unbeatable in my book.

Breaking bad is the most recent series I've been glued to. It's yet to finish though so we'll wait and see just where it ranks after the finale.

I'm intrigued about The Wire. I plan to eventually get a loan of it from my best mate (who is forever mentioning it as soon as I mention The Sopranos). The two are always mentioned together on these kinds of questions, so I will need to see it at some point to see what all the hype's about :50:

Firefly. Half sci-fi, half western, set in the future, 14 episodes and a film. One of the few perfect shows I've seen.

    Thanks man !

Wasn't that into Ashes to Ashes, might give it another chance but Life on Mars is one of the very best tv series around, they done the right thing in keeping it to two seasons.

Revolution, is half way through the first series and on a winter break the now, its set in the future and all the power goes out and the world goes into anarchy and reverts back to colonial rule, but certain people in the world have pendent's (the ones who caused the power to go out) that can omit power for electricity to work in short ranges. By no means is it brilliant but i'm enjoying it and as my two favorite series are the same as yours so you might enjoy it to.
