    There's a song called Fallowfield hillbilly which is the definition
    Concrete love? Definitely their worst album in my opinion.

    But St Jude and ANNA are two of my favourite albums out. Also the new album Mappin the Rendezvous has some great tracks.

    Im not a huge fan of any of them but the Smiths are on a different level to the rest of that list. At his best, Morrissey is up there with some of the best lyricists in popular music. Id say the Hollies are second.

    On a side note, I think the Stone Roses are extremely overrated. They must be one of those 'had to be there' bands.

    Stones Roses debut album is as good as any..

    The Smiths tho were on a different level as lyricists, so much humour and intelligence in their songwriting.
