Ma wife loves the Eagles.....thought they were just old guys that made average music apart from Hotel California.

Then seen them at Hampden a few years back.

AC/DC Live at Donnington was pretty incredible.

My favourite live act I've ever seen was Cancer Bats at download a few years ago, mental.

Was at Live8 and seen some amazing bands and some utter dross. The stand outs for me were REM and Pink Floyd. Also seen Morrisey in Barrowlands and he puts on a great show.

Roger Waters the wall at the O2 arena when David Gilmour appeared for comfortably numb.

I would say Kasabian second as they were such a good live band.

The Prodigy were awesome but maybe that was just the stupid amount of class A drugs that had been consumed.

My uncle took me to see the Talking Heads in 81 when i was barely 10yo
so didn't know really. Then he took me to see Queen at St James Park
    in 85..now that i remember,amazing performance.
G'n'R in 92 at Gateshead Stadium with Soundgarden and Faith no More.
Saw Metallica in Durham ice rink around same time.
Loads of punk/hardcore shows that where great but those where
the big boys so to speak.
