In honour of Reo Hatate tonight.

Few that come to mind are

    • Naka against Dundee United
    • Lubo against Dundee
    • Barry Robson against Aberdeen (scored with his first touch in a Celtic strip)
    and last but not least

    • Efe Ambrose against Raith Rovers was a masterclass :56:

    Efe vs Raith at CDM.

Looked like the next Yaya Toure.

Efe's was great, skinned * for fun, was flicking it over peoples heads, nearly scored I think from carrying the ball forward from his own half and everything then never played in midfield again.

Didn't Ramon Vega score a double on his debut?

Lubos, it's not even up for debate! Scoring twice against the Huns in a debut will take some beating.

That's if that even was his debut. I'm 99% sure it was although I had to Google it and it's saying two different games was his debut

One saying Dundee, another saying the Huns game although I think I'm wrong if I remember rightly.

On 27 October 1998, Moravčík signed for Scottish Premier League side Celtic for a fee of £330,000.[5] The move linked him up with fellow Slovak Jozef Vengloš, who was Celtic manager at the time.[6] Initially sceptical of the impact a player aged then 33 could have,[7] Moravčík became a hero in the eyes of the Parkhead faithful, forming an outstanding partnership with Henrik Larsson.[8] He made his Celtic debut against Old Firm rivals Rangers on 21 November 1998 and scored first two goals for the Hoops in what turned out to be a memorable 5–1 victory.[9]

He stayed at Celtic Park for a total of four seasons, winning two Scottish championships, one Scottish Cup and two Scottish League Cups. Former teammates Larsson, Chris Sutton and Stiliyan Petrov have all named him in their One to Eleven highlighting his two-footedness, his ability with both feet.[10][11][12] In 2015, Moravčík said of his time in Glasgow: "My favourite time, my most special time, was at Celtic. They said I was a 'gift from *' but it was the opposite – Celtic was a gift from * to me…Celtic is unique."[13]

Did Kris Commons not score a cracking lob at Hampden on his debut?

    Aye, against Aberdeen.

His first few games were mental. Did we not play Rangers twice within his first 3 or 4 games and he scored in both games?

Huns was Lubo’s 3rd game. We spanked Dundee on his debut, lost to St Johnstone then sparked the uglies.

I remember how good Efe looked against Raith, aye it was lower opposition at Celtic Park but he absolutely strolled it, maybe we should have kept him at CDM :fear:

Samaras scored a great goal on his debut and I remember my mates being excited about him.

Not sure why but I always remember John Collins in the studio that day describing it as a nice, clean, smooth finish.

Thought he was about to pull out a Gillette Mach3 and show it to the camera.
