    got to be celtic symphony, and the unrecorded verses make more sense of the song,

    It was decided that they were to be cut out because it made the song too long when it was first written by Brian Warfield of the Wolfetones.

    He took me back to Glasgow town
    around the world and around around,
    and the Celts were playing at the Huns ground,

    i like alot of rebel tunes but tunes about celtic it has to be celtic symphony by far. i know it word for word and love singing it when drink

    cool. Id always assumed that the devil & evil eye references were some abstract allusion to your common garden hun, but it's nice to have it confirmed.:celt_2:

    And those lyrics are a bit pish so it's best they were cut, anyway.

    What happened to the Celtic symphony? It's hardly ever played or sung anymore, 5 years ago it was probably one of, if not the most sung song.

    Yeah, I heard the fans singing it in the Spurs v Dortmund game (before Celtic Feynoord) and was quite surprised as I couldn't mind the last time it did the rounds.

    Especially now we have Samaras and can sing ooh ah Samaras. Not that I'd have a problem with anyone singing the original....

    I agree, celtic symphony is amazing. Surprised the Celtic song hasn't been mentionesd at.
