Berwick Rangers Vs Celtic... Sunday 9th Jan.

I hope this will be a chance for some of our players that dont normally get a run out to show Lennon what they can do and compete for a 1st team spot but i dont want Lenny to put too many youngsters out because every time i think about this game i get bad bad memories from a game from last season against Ross County..


Would like to see freddie gettin a run, let us all see if he Actually fit enough.

Should steamroll them. Of course, we probably won't. Can't see a shock on trhe cards tbh.

I still think we should put out a strong-ish side to play Berwick, no point in changing the side to much & ending up scraping through the game or worse! Actually slipping up, we do want to win the Scottish Cup this year, so I still think we should keep the spine of the side.​

this is the exact team i would have apart from Ljungberg in Mulgrews place and maybe the second half for stokes replacing paddy ( surly we wont need him against this lot )

Although this may seem a week team they will all be fighting to keep their starting positions and should still be a better team than the "Wee Rangers"

 

Ruelas won't get put in. He could probably manage to feature. But He's guna have to get in squads and that first.

Slane is out injured for months still

I'd like to see Ljungberg and Kapo have a start in this game. Give us a chance to show us what they're capable of.
I also reckon Mulgrew should be playing as a left midfielder more often, he is much, much more competent there than he is as a left back.

Whatever happens I hope we well and truly stuff them.
Does anybody know if the game is on tele?

I wouldn't mind seeing some of the young lads threw in whilst maintaining a bit of experience, possibly give Forster a rest as well maybe. Freddie to get his debut also.

 

Crosas and Juarez are definately due a game

 

Crosas, Juarez, Hooiveld and maybe Zaluska should all start I reckon. Can never predict these games, hope were not all going to get a huge comedown after the derby match.

 

Play a full team no matter the opposition,This team needs games together to settle ,we are seeing a better Celtic team of late so i would'nt change much about it.

 

You need 2 change it a bit mate..people like Rogne, Sammy and Kayal have earned a rest in my books

 

depending on fitness of certain players i would infact change it up a wee bit,
