    Delighted he is gone.

Looked like we had unearthed a gem in his first season. Quality player for us then it all went to pot. A disgrace at Rugby Park in that 3-3 game which is one of the first things that comes to mind for me when his name is mentioned.

When (as part of a three man wall) he ducked from the ball, causing Athletico to score.

He wasn't part of a wall, he was behind it.

I just remember his very good performances bossing it against the Huns, Ajax at home last season, * Juve away he was by far our best player.

Best of luck to him, loved his passion.

McCulloch done him. However thought Kayal would be a wee bit more a street fighter to come back from that one!! Good luck at Brighton!! Be careful in the shower down there too:smiley-laughing002:

    His post on Instagram

I would like to thank the Celtic fans for the tremendous support they gave me throughout my time with the club.

They are amazing fans, commited to the team and they were incredibly supportive to me all through my time in Glasgow.

Coming to a new country, that support was huge for me and I now have many great friends and good memories from my time along in the famous green-and-white hoops.

I will see them all soon. I will be back to watch Celtic in the future – as the club will always be in my heart – and I wish everybody at the club the best for the future.

For now it is time to begin a new chapter in my career with Brighton & Hove Albion, and I am very much looking forward to playing for the supporters here in Brighton.

Never forget him ducking away from the ball, and the goal that resulted. Seemed so combative and effective in his first season with us; then there was the turmoil around his contract negotiations, and the way he acted like a petulant child throughout. He was never very much more than a bench player after that. As has been said by others on this thread, when in the mood he could be a fierce and intimidating player, but I personally wouldn't consider his time with us to have been a success. I wish him all the best on his move to Brighton; it may just be the change he needs. HH

He ducked on the line, not in the wall

Very good player for us 95% of the time he played for us. For me it is a shame how is career went with us. He was my favourite player

It wasn't even on the line either, from what I remember he was on the edge of the box.

Apparently he's been their stand out player since he arrived there in January. They love him and think it won't be too long before a bigger team comes in for him.

I liked Beram, he's a great player on his day but it probably was time for all parties to move on. Thought he would be playing in the Premier League though. Still only 27 so plenty of time for that.

Beram and Bitton would be a very, very formidable pairing for us if both were on form.

My * I hate that ugly plooky faced * McCulloch :47:

There was never any doubt regarding his ability, and he's showing that now at Brighton. It's a shame he couldn't regain his first season form for us, but unfortunately that's how football goes sometimes.

Would be good to see him return to Scotland, would still do a job for the likes of Aberdeen/Hibs.
