Loved Benkovic and wanted him to stay, wanted to see more of him, but it all screams pointless.

 

Liked him when he was here but, are we not filling a position of an injured player, with a very injury prone player who’s not kicked a ball for a while??

 

He is another who is made of glass who would be pointless. Rather give Welsh game time.

We desperately need a CB. We have one fit and available CB for Monday night.

Unless we have someone else lined up, ready to step in and make an immediate impact then I’ll be disappointed but not surprised.

 

Benkovic would never be ready to jusy come in an play ans makw any sort of impact. He has hardly played and is not match fit. So glad we never got him took him on loan

 

That is my point. It would be justified missing out on him if we were bringing in someone who’s match fit and ready to play.

But who’s the last person that we signed that was match fit and could go straight into the team?

 

Turnbull - played the opening six matches of the season for Motherwell and was more than match fit - not that Lennon would have known that small detail.

Your point is very apt though, far too many get signed who arent up to speed, specially in January.


As an FYI - Laxalt hit the ground running. But Ajeti, Turnbull, Duffy didn't - by our managers comments.
