So many fine margins that went against us or we failed to capitalise on.

We weren't going through against Bayern but we almost did. We certainly gave them a fright.

    * back Rodgers. The reason we didn't go through is the drop off from coming off the bench.

We back him, we may go another round!

    It's also the Champions League.

Maybe we could have made more subs. But I feel the players gave it their all. We made Bayern work hard for it.

Everyone is talking about Celtic's performance, not Bayern. That is a great way ending a really good season in europe.

Can't believe some people are blaming the subs for this result. Yang and Idah put in a power of work when they came on. Lost count of the number of times Idah cleared the ball out our box and he was involved in the goal. Yang won a few good tackles and started a couple of attacks and closed them down really well.
We fell back because our midfield were tiring and I don't know why we didn't bring McCowan on for Hatate to inject some energy and help get us up the park.
Games ebb and flow depending on the situation in the game. Bayern came forward at the end because they needed a goal whereas before that they were going through at 2-1. We fell back as our midfield in particular was knackered and we were trying to hold out for ET - nothing to do with the subs other than not bringing on a midfielder.

Still raging about that decision not to award a free kick to us before their goal !! Over the 2 legs we were on the end of some real dodgy decisions in what is meant to be the best competition in the world !! The players can be so proud though, I thought they were immense !! If we can keep this squad together and add another pieces of quality to it then I think there will be some exciting times ahead !!

Refreshing to have Gabby Logan and John Champion covering the game as opposed to those Hun * Dodds and Hamilton making my ears bleed.

Just seen the highlights there....knew it was 1-1 and I was like....fair doz . Sore one to take at 94mins. But their actual goal? Makes all that worse. Very unlucky on our part.
Proud as * how we went there and went toe to toe and should have went to ET

My thoughts exactly. I was gutted with that final minute goal, but we had chances earlier on to knock them out. Still, a memorable champions league night, just fell a little short. Time to improve the squad as we could have progressed tonight with a bit more talent.

Feeling so deflated this morning. That draw is the closest thing to a defeat given the way we went out.

I genuinely didn’t give us a hope before the ball was kicked. Our away form the past few years has told me not to get my hopes up too much but honestly that made this performance all the better because I genuinely didn’t expect us to come out and look better than them for chunks of the game. I can’t believe we could’ve won away at Bayern Munich. Unreal.

At the end of the day we were never going to win the CL but that would have been some result to go through and just wasn’t to be. I would have thought I’d feel better waking up proud of the team but it’s just sunk in that our best European campaign in years is over. This must be built upon next year and we have to get through the qualifiers. Is it one or two? We are too big of a club for this to be a one hit wonder season. Our fanbase deserves a sustained challenge year on year in the CL.

Alasdair Lamont was shocking on EBT Scotland. Couldn't help himself at all.

its incredibly fustrating that we were in both thoes games and hadnt the strength and depth to give us that little bit extra to turn more of the glorious failure into victory . can only guess what sort of contribution kyogo would have made over the two games nevermind if we had actually did the thing right in january with a striker,dm and a rw . hopefully its a wake up call for thoes hoarding money

Yeah, the rise of Total Football kept it in Holland for a few years then Liverpool and Nottingham Forest kept it in England forbabfew years. Can't remember if it ended up in any other nations in the 70s? Should have been here in 1970 though.

Sore way to end that game in what’s been a highly entertaining campaign with the exception of one game.We once more showed we can go up against the best last night and everyone is talking about Celtic’s performance not Bayern.

Much more to come from BR and the bhoys.

    Aye I've woke up gutted.

I was a lot more content last night even after the winner as I had quite low expectations but I keep replaying the chances in my head.

Genuinely we should have knocked Bayern Munich out the champions league on their own patch! In time I will realise how big that is.

I genuinely gave us no chance before these games.
