I'm not even nervous, we're getting pumped in this game. I've made my peace with that. :smiley-laughing002:

For me, the 3 key games are the home game against Man City and the two games against BMG, in other words the three following games. I'm nervous as * about them.

Working on the fairly justified assumption that we'll get nothing against Barcelona or away to Man City, to have any chance of 3rd, we have to somehow pick up 4 points from those 3 games. It's a tough ask, though. We are surely underdogs in all 3 of those games.

This has the potential to scar a burgeoning self confidence and belief like I haven't seen in a long time ag Celtic.

 

True, if it ends up a cricket score, which it might.

But look, as you yourself have pointed out, losing 3 or 4 to nil away to Barça or Real is no disgrace. Even EPL and Bundesliga teams often get their arses handed to them too and I'm sure Rodgers and his coaching team will make that clear to the players after the game. We just need to stay calm, keep disciplined and focussed and we'll avoid anything worse than 3 or 4 to nil.

Daft though it might sound, I can genuinely imagine taking something like a 3-0 or 4-1 defeat and feeling really proud of our performance.

I'm sure Brendan has a game plan to try and get something from this game.
Pack the midfield, press them and rely on our speedy forwards to break on the counter.
Whatever happens, we leave an indelible stamp on them for what they can expect at Parkhead.

 

We are going to need that and more to have any chance on Tuesday. A draw would be an out of this world achievement. Having said that I am looking forward to the game as we have nothing to lose as long as we can at least not get beat by a huge score.
