    You're actually thinking about the film 'Gallipoli', rather than the mini-series, ANZACS. Still, Gallipoli is a film well worth watching - and the entire thing is even on youtube, haha!

    Tthe parachute " jump " scenes are some of the best cinematography i have seen on the small screen . I still prefer the Pacific overall though , bit edgier and to my tastes.

    From what I recall as I watched it ages ago there wasn't nearly as much action as was in Band of Brothers, couldn't connect with the characters in the same way either.

    Iv been contemplating watching both again iv been running through a lot of favourites past few weeks, after messiah on netflix I'm not watching anything new for a while

    Started recording last night , I will wait till it records them all before I start again . The introduction music just pulls me in , best show ever for me . must be about the dozenth time and im sure will be just as good as the first .
