Obviously got a fair bit of down time at present, been reading quite a bit but I’m all out just now. Anyone recommend any decent autobiographies that you’ve read and rate?

Gerry Adams, Cage 11, about his time in the Maze, I read it around the mid 90s and found it interesting and in parts hilarious.

Jackie Chans is class I think. Mental the training he had and how he appreciates it now.

Ricky Tomlinson from the TV show Royle Family is a great read

'If there is a better written, less pretentious book by an actor, then I have yet to read it. Undoubtedly the showbusiness book of the year' INDEPENDENT ON SUNDAY
Famous as the lovable couch potato Jim Royle of The Royle Family, Ricky Tomlinson has entertained millions without ever leaving his armchair. Now, in his long-awaited autobiography, he surprises yet again with a remarkable story of love, hardship, humour, injustice and triumph.
His mother used to tell him that he had lived three lives, but even she miscounted. He has been a plasterer, banjo player, stand-up comic, union agitator, political activist, film extra, award-winning actor and unwilling guest of Her Majesty's prison service.
Renowned and respected for his honesty, wit and integrity, Ricky brings all of these qualities to his extraordinary, moving and inspiring story.

Maradona's auto-biography is a good read, as is Nelson Mandela's. Last two I read.

A couple of these might be biographies though but few of my best ones .
    Papillon
Black elk speaks ( great medicine man of the sioux )
The man who mailed himself out of jail Richard McNair ( good biography goes on the run from 3 jails in America )
A prayer before dawn a nightmare in Thailand
Charles Bronson the English cons is good as well
