    Let’s avoid taking the Ange thread on a tangent eh? :ange2:

    Discussions have been largely about the standard of A-League football.

    For what it’s worth I don’t think the MacLaren comparison holds much weight. He’s banging them in in Australia and was only decent in Scotland.. but Shane Duffy failing in the SPL doesn’t mean the SPL is on a par with the Premier League.

    @Mr Cleansheets can we revisit the Austraila National Team having a higher co-efficient than Scotland means the A Leagues stronger? Cos that was interesting.


    It would mean currently Belgium is the strongest league in the world, fair play to Jack Hendry for thriving at that peak level.
