This lad Buta just looks similar to Frimpong, small, rapid and very attacking but not great defensively.

 

He actually attempted to show him down the line which is what you want and im sure he would have fancied his pace to block the cross.

the lad done him with a good bit of skill and he probably didnt wana dive in either in the box.
Id say he could of gotten closer to him and tried to force him down the line.

Honestly I watched the whole game and that clip I posted was basically the only noteworthy thing from it. Even then I'd have said it was more the skill of the winger than poor defending that led to the goal. The biggest takeaway from the game is that the standard was absolutely *, the game was a chore to watch and I don't think any player on either side is fit to play for a mid table SPFL team, never mind Celtic. I won't be watching any antwerp games again any time soon

Also Buta played way more conservatively than youtube clips had me believe, not sure if it was managerial instruction or what but he almost never overlapped and generally played quite safe.

Antwerp are in a transition period too, new coach, full new attacking line-up and nothing is working at the moment for them. Too many new faces to settle in. Just for the critics of the * level they are playing lol.

 

I'd be happy if we signed him, but the lack of alternatives being forwarded worry me, if the deal for this guy falls through who would be next on the list?

 

Id rather go for josip juranovic at legia warsaw if we were interested at all that is
