My Grandad made sure I did. Brought me over to see him in his last season when I was little. My first ever Celtic game, a 2-2 draw at home to Hearts.

I saw him v Kaunas I think and against Lyon when he set up both goals, literally crossed the ball in front of us on the main stand. Absolutely amazing

First time seen the king live in the flesh was against St Jonstone... Final game if the season... We in needed to stop their 10 and lift the title.

I will remember his first half strike for the rest of my life, i was just behind the goal, but about 10 rows up... Watching the ball just sail into the corner.

I was just a kid, but literally one of the happiest days of my life.

Ps. I also remember being surprised at how squeeky Stubbs voice was when he took the mic lol

I remember that great day so well. I was in tears hugging a mate next to me at the final whistle. Another trip home I remember fondly as by then I was already in the US was against Motherwell at Fir Park. It was a really cold day snowed during part of the game but we won 7-1 and a certain Henrik Larsson bagged himself 4.

it quite sad when you see him on the tv nowadays as he always seemed to have a smile on his face when he was younger.seeing a genuinely world class player in ther prime destroying teams every week is something the younger ones have been robbed of

    Yes, once at Celtic Park.
Way back in 2002, in a 1-0 win against Dundee Utd.
    Petrov scored the only goal.
On the day two other Swedish players was on the park (Mjällby and Hedman).

Me and my brother-in-law in Glasgow for a long weekend, great times indeed!

I actually never saw him at CP and I’m not even sure at this point what my first CP visit was. It wasn’t until my mid teens anyway, I was 13 when he left.

But I did see him at East End Park away to Dunfermline with my Grandpa. I’d of been 9, so that was special.

Yes. A wonderful time in my life.

What struck me was his unselfishness, game intelligence, and how formidable in the air he was for a smaller player.

Link up play, composure, combativeness, finishing. He had the lot. We won’t see another player like him, certainly not one that plays for us for 7 years.

Is everyone really that young on this forum!? I'm 'only' 40 but remember each and every one of his 7 years with us. I do pity those too young to remember. I highly doubt I will see anyone as good as him in my lifetime again. Genuinely thought we could beat anyone when he was in the line up.

He was one of the top 20 strikers in in the world at his speak with us and would easily be a £50m+ player in todays market.

Reckon that may well do him a bit to a disservice.

Would need to look back on it in more detail, but his only real peers in the UK in his prime seemed to be Henry and Van Nistelrooy. Shearer was there but last his best. Few sporadic runs of form from the likes of Owen and Kevin Philips too.
