Anyone else support Northern Ireland?

I do. Always have. Support them just as much as the republic. I've never been to Windsor park and never intend to as I don't feel I'd be welcome but that doesn't stop me supporting the team. Any other like minded people on here?

Ps. Please don't turn this into a thread about the troubles. There's plenty of that in the H&P section.

I don't support them and I like to see them get beat if I am honest but my dad although he supports the Republic will always have a wee look out to see how they are doing.

The fans are scumbags to an extent. Same as rangers. The team aren't though. Manys a good * played for them. One manages them right now

 

Many good people support them too, many horrible horrible * though and they are the majority in my mind. Supporting a state that I don't recognise to exist is unthinkable.

I do actually quite like to watch them, they have a good atmosphere at their games and get tore in, its actually a bit like watching Celtic in Europe

 

Unless you include Donegal the most northerly of counties.

 

Probably not no but it doesn't change the fact 'Northern Ireland' is still recognised as a separate country from the Republic of Ireland.

Celtic men like Neil Lennon, Paddy McCourt and Martin O'Neill have all played for Northern Ireland, the latter winning 64 caps and captaining them at a World Cup.

 

It isn't a country it's a province
