Said it in the match thread, the bhoy was a rock second half. I would love to know how many headers he won because he got to everything that second half.

They were a half decent side, and Karlsson is a cracking player and it didn’t happen.

Got done a couple of times but that’s what quality players do. They were a good team and he was left majorly exposed and done very well.

Something Abada needs to learn desperately is not to leave his fullback two on one that consistently. As it is, he stopped a certain goal in the first leg, and that pass to Abada 2 minutes in tonight got us through the tie.

They’re a decent team with some real quality in Karlsson and Koopmieners and he didn’t get found out at allz

Delighted for him.

Its not by any means unique to the Celtic support, but he didn’t warrant getting as much stick as he did.

 

Can he play center half?

 

Was worried he would keep getting absolutely rinsed all game but overall he played ok. Still need better than him though. Great pass for the pre-assist to Abada.

 

At the moment if we are going to play Juronivic him playing CB or CM should be considered before LB.

Rodgers did play him LB at one point so it isn't crazy but reckon he's have done a job as CM tonight.

 

Karlsson will skin a lot better players in his career, and I mean that with the greatest respect to Ralston.

Thought second half especially he was immense. Wins most of his headers, never shirks a challenge, and some of his passes down the line were sublime. Our best player overall tonight for me.

Hes the best header of a ball at the club, he attacks the ball brilliantly... I'd be considering converting him to a center half, at least for cover

 

The best of our back four tonight, which is both a credit to him and a worrying indictment of how badly we need defensive reinforcements at centre back and left back.

 

Actually thought did OK today with his headers at attacking corners too. Didn't quite come off but won a few.
