1) My rangers mate laughed when we appointed Ange and said 'He's the next Pedro Caixinha. He'll probably end up hiding in a bush. (He's not laughing now).

2) Ian Holloway (one of the worst ever Millwall managers) took a champions league striker in McDonald and played him totally out of position. I remember me and my mate watching it live and going *.

Not sure which bod sourced and signed Ange - but buy that person a drink - It was a cracking move.

Get a quality defensive midfielder in and that's a very good squad. Still need another CB - ideally left footed. Would like another forward as well - Mmaee would be perfect as he can play wide or central.

Really need to see something from Ideguchi this season. Him and McCarthy would be a waste of wages otherwise.

 

That's it, no more needed beyond that, though I actually think we might even get a CB in as well, just going on some of the links that have come up.

If we can get Vinicius for the DM I would happily take a project loan for the winger/forward. That 6 is the key transfer left now that could be the difference between springing a few surprises in the CL and getting humped.

Siegrest will be a natural follow up keeper to Hart once the older Englishman eventually decides to stop. Now they can test each other at training. I hope we can see them both play regularly during the year in the SPL, league cup games, Scottish cup games, CL games. It will be a busy season again.

 

Anyone else buzzing with what this guy will achieve with a settled squad and a fully planned, uninterrupted pre-season?

 

The hun media know we have a top quality manager in Ange and will attempt to unsettle him and push him out the door this season; get ready for questions such as:

Ange; you're being linked with various teams down south; has managing in the EPL always been an ambition of yours?
Is two years enough at a club like Celtic?
How would you feel being the first Australian to manage in the EPL?
Do you feel you've accomplished all you can at Celtic?

etc etc etc

It all amounts to them saying 'So Ange dont you think its time you * off because while you're here rangers arent going to win the league so if you could just take a job down in England that would be great; cheers' No doubt Ange will see through it and will slap them down when they inevitably start their *

This will also apply to any of our players that are proving themselves to be very good players; they want rid as soon as possible as it obviously hinders newco rangers chances of success

They are absolute snakes and Id have them warned that if they're determined to peddle this low life line of questioning and attempt to unsettle our players and manager they wont be welcome at future press conferences. It might seem a bit extreme but they've been at it for years and it might show some of them they cant get away with it any longer

Do we even need main stream media anymore? I get all the news I need from from fans media such as bloggers; vloggers; forums etc You will find thats were rags such as the Daily record get their news from anyway; their 'journalists' (lol) scour the internet looking for stories many of which they lift straight from sites created by Celtic supporters

Always makes me laugh the way Scottish pundits and journo's complain on radio shows; TV shows and tabloid rags that theres not enough top quality players or managers in Scotland but the minute one emerges they seem desperate to get him out of the country particularly if he's employed by Celtic

Nah I reckon we most definitely need another winger one that can play both sides preferably and as you said another Centre half, welsh is * and we don't even know if Julien can play football anymore he hasn't played for that long.
