Some of these interviewers would rather encounter Begbie than Ange.

 

Sorry but Ange enough already please with the "dunno about you mate" * in every single interview - at first it was funny and (seemed to be) accurate and deserved - by now we've learned that it's just automatic and imo embarrassing - get some new patter Ange

 

I don't know anyone who thinks its "embarrassing" actually as you see in this thread many think its very well deserved and delivered at the correct time but again, a donno about you mate.

 

One game closer to the title is all im seeing.

 

He responds like that because they keep trying to get a rise out of him or get him to accept the premise of their frequently negative questions.

I don't see his responses as automatic, I see them as consistent.

 

As long as the reporters ask * questions, they will be treated like dickheads, fair's fair.

 

I do, and many people are easily impressed - it has at times been appropriate and deserved and i'm all for that - what i'm saying is that he does it every single time, regardless of whether he's asked a * question or not - for example post-Bodo. He should concentrate more on his tactics than trying to score cheap points in interviews

 

If they ask the same stupid * then they can expect the same replies. * the lot of them. Don't care what his patter is like to these tiresome * so long as he's doing a good job, which he has been.

 

Do you think bobo will win? Why does he give a *? He's the celtic manager, no the bobo. Ask about celtic and he will answer.

 

He's treating them with the contempt that they deserve. They wouldn't talk to GVB the way they try to talk to him. Walter Smith would have and did wipe the floor with them. You have to earn respect. Give it and you will receive. Too many times they've had wee digs at us in the press and media in general while kissing hun *.

 

Strange to find this embarrassing. He's not doing it for laughs, he's purposefully not giving them anything and treating them with the contempt the questions deserve. Thank * we have someone who will finally do that and not pander to their leading questions.

Just read there about who that Kenny MacIntyre is, a self confessed hun with an obvious agenda, so no wonder he's asking stupid questions. He got off lightly.

 

He calls folk mate. Same as most aussies. Don’t see the issue here.

 

Hardly embarrassing when Australian lads use it all the time.

It's probably more down to personal taste how you feel someone handles the media but Vince Rugari pointed out at the start that if you ask stupid questions, you get stupid answers batted straight back at you with Ange.

On the flip side - he's brilliant with the fan media. More open and light hearted.
