This guy looks if he doesn't put up with any * and he will walk away from the job within a year when he realises this board will * him around with players and budget .

    Defo possible.

If he is appointed (and I'm starting to worry he won't be) he'll insist on control and support from the board. In return, he will turn Celtic into a powerhouse, given time to impose his systems.

If he doesn't get control and support, he'll walk...nothing more certain.

Let’s see if he accept Kennedy and Strachan.

He’ll not be in a stronger position than he is right now for a long time. If he accepts them then he is a yes man.

Seriously, the only reason he'll accept them is if he has no choice because of the Euro license issue.

That doesn't make him a yes man. It's just the only way to achieve his ambition.

It will be hard to know what kind of team he will bring, he took his own team to Japan, but this season both his assistants moved on to other J League clubs after they won the league. I don't know about the current assistants at yokohama.
He clearly is happy to work with whoever is already there (its happened at Melbourne and the national team) but for a job like celtic maybe he'll wanted trusted people, there are a few Australians that he has worked with that have uefa pro as well.
Scott McIntyre is pretty solid when it comes to Asian football (hes based in japan) so id think he'd be on the money for this.

Hard to know with this one.

The board are massively incompetent so would not be surprising.

On the other hand KDS ITKs know * all.

Heard or read it somewhere, Y FM weren’t going to stand in his way as they understand it was his ambition to manage in Europe.

The qualifications issue is the hold up as they are in discussions with the UEFA as to what qualifications they will recognise and the paperwork takes time.

Kennedy and Strachan should be out the * door when this guy comes in and maybe one of the reasons Howe didn't take the job and we are alienating good coaches for the job if one of of the conditions Is you have to accept Kennedy and Strachan and his laptop .

In fairness what have most managers won before becoming Celtic Boss?

    Rodgers
    Lennon
    Delia
    Strachan

The list goes on.. Eddie Howe won absolutely nothing yet we all wanted him. Is MON the last manager we appointed that actually had a decent amount of silverware on his CV?

He looks like a used car salesman. He doesn't have his coaching badges for Europe. He's almost as fraudulent as the board. Sold Eddie Howe in the knowledge that the 31,000 season tickets were getting counterfeit goods.

The board for me, shouldn't get to decide who they appoint anymore. I'd offer the job back to Gordon Strachan immediately. He know the club inside out, Celtic TV. Once Sean Maloney returns from the Euros he can coach the squad with the tactics instilled in him by Roberto Martinez. Fresh ideas. Strachan would stop the rot in the meantime knows the Scottish game and its players inside out.

They can drip feed this Postecoglou imposter to the press all they like. I will absolutely never buy it. Not a single penny for the Edinburgh Elite's biscuit tin, Mackay!

For the rest of the season there's going to be protests around a Celtic Trust being involved in the running of Celtic. So never again we're conned out of our money by liars, charlatans and thieves.

Im starting to have a good feeling about him. Looking at him he demands respect. Atleast he wants to play the right way and if our players have some self respect they will listen. Infact getting told what to do would be an improvement and with our type of players I can see it working out. Not in Europe tbh that comes too soon but luckily when he smashed the league and we then can go to the champions league, no qualifiers, later season start better rest. Hope this works out

Rodgers was clearly a world class coach, and wasn't a complete unknown, we seen him at Swansea and Liverpool.

Lennon had been coach/ assistant for some time at Celtic, and was given it on interim basis initially.

Deila had won the league in Norway, and was originally planned as assitant, but due to us * up, he got the gig, and fell on his *.

Strachan had managed in England for years and done ok with Southampton.

None of the managers you listed spent 25 years in a footballing backwater. Deila's circumstances were the closest listed to chunk, coming in from nowhere .. and he was the worst manager of the lot.
Comparing this guy to Howe is absolute madness. One is sought after and was touted for the England job, the other is hopping around in the J league.
