That line he said about the only thing you learn about yourself playing conservatively against a better team is that your inferior and you dont believe you can get any better is a cracker of a line. Got real insight into his beliefs in that conference and why he does what he does.

Aye I liked how he said about sitting on his own on flights etc and no getting too close as that can skew your judgement naturally..

Enjoyed it. If he was your boss you'd genuinely want to give that extra 5% every game..

I’m glad you’re all seeing Ange for what he is. He’s not just a quality manager but a quality bloke too. And I’m loving his handling of the media over there. * hilarious

I could not have been more wrong, or hysterical about the appointment of Ange Postecoglou. Not imposter cogalou as I judged him.

    He is a giant.

I owe him the apology of my life. I was angry at the board.

It's how quickly things turned around really.
Could have been 2 or 3 bad results away from no return but international break, players coming back, and grinding out some good results like Aberdeen really lifted the team and support.
To get to 4 pts from top, cup final, and europe after Xmas is an outstanding achievement.

Hopefully the crazy Xmas schedule doesn't mess up our floor too much but can see us top by new year.

He deserves credit for getting to a cup final at his first attempt. Needs to win it now. He’s acknowledged the rocky start we had and given the size of the rebuild some poor results were expected, though as they built up it was natural concerns appeared. However the progress the squad has made in less than six months has been great. All we could ask for was a challenge for getting the league back and at the moment we’re in a good position.

December will be a tough month and a couple of injuries could make things difficult for us. If we do well it could really set the tone for the second half of the season, along with some new players in January.

Robocop was shouting for Barry Ferguson to be the next Huns manager literally days ago. He needs to pipe the * down. Utterly, utterly, clueless.

I actually think the support are far too hard on themselves in terms of being ‘wrong’ about him.

What * fans of was (I thought) very clear. We were all under the impression that not only was it going to be Howe, but that he’d been working tirelessly for months to assess the entire club from top to bottom, ensuring he would hit the ground running on day 1.

It transpired that we had instead, spent the best part of 6 months doing largely nothing. At that stage it would’ve taken a ridiculous appointment, someone of massive standing in the game, to really stop people being extremely * off.

I really don’t think there were many immediately arguing that Ange couldn’t be a success, but everyone was arguing that a decision should’ve been made months ago, which was quite right imo. Had he been brought in even a couple of months prior, there’s a very good chance we would be top by now, imo.

    Not from what I’ve seen.

Plenty would’ve probably stated that the circumstances behind his arrival - very key on, no back room staff, massive rebuild etc - would’ve been likely to prevent him from being a success, and that would be a perfectly fair point - he was up against it.

I think the notion that the Celtic fans were collectively of the belief that he wasn’t good enough is massively overblown though.

He is at a position of 'temporary' strength...

He needs his own backroom staff, DoF etc. as we are always one major injury, result away from disaster. Yes I'd like to see new players in Jan, but a better structure around the manager would be a bigger enhancement in my opinion.

He seems happy with his team so far, and players are still more of a priority for results on the pitch.
