Yes, my expectation is Celtic should be beating the bottom team in the league every single time we play them, so vast is the advantage Celtic have.

Would you not agree with me that if Celtic fail to beat a team like Livingston something has gone wrong? Why can't we criticise losing 0-1 to a * team like Livingston? Are we Dundee?

Football is about a lot of things, but basically you could argue it boils down to two; Attacking and defending.
To think that it´s alright to have a manager who doesn´t do defending is outrageous.

    * knows how we can't beat Livingston as different Celtic teams and managers have failed as well and maybe that plastic pitch is the cause .
But we have Aberdeen and Motherwell and Hibs in our next away games and the manager needs starting to get wins or it's over for the league before October is out .
We are badly short of attacking midfielders and another striker and the bench yesterday was again a joke for options and I hope we can get players back before the next away fixture .

Postecoglou must know when and how his tactics work. If he doesn't realize that his tactic relies on breakthroughs in wide areas followed by crosses, we won't ever beat Livingston or any similarly defensive team away from home.

The midfield composition can be changed- we don't desperately need two pure attacking midfielders every game. In fact, a box-to-box MF making late runs into the box would add to our game immensely. But we do need two classic wingers, or in Abada's case, a man two-footed enough to be able to do both repeated crosses, and threaten with shots on occasion.

I'm guessing the expectations of Yokohama and his Ozzie clubs were less than Celtics. Their budget will have been smaller also. CL qualification which the money alone from that is close to half our annual turnover.

Fans probably pay less towards these clubs also in terms of ST, merchandise and following them around the country, Europe and 4/5 different companies to watch our hoops.

As it stands, there's nothing to laugh at here.

It's possible they could be easier than today as those teams will attack us more and we're playing on grass. In the first quarter we've got a lot of hard away games - those you've mentioned plus Ibrox, Tynecastle and Livi (cos of their plastic pitch). It will be the opposite in the 2nd quarter so we just have to stay in touch.

Yeah and that's all very well in theory but I think the major difference here is the pressure he will be feeling. If results follow a similar trend for the next 3/4 months then its not as easy to stick to your guns when the fans will be in uproar and he's fighting for his job most probably. If he pulls it off great but he needs to starting winning consistently now, not 4 months from now because in all honesty that's a situation he doesn't really want to be in.

Rogic is a different player entirely under Ange, his performance in Seville was absolutely exceptional and a roll back of about 5 seasons. Turnbull was good last year but he still has levels and facets to improve on and for me he’s starting to do that albeit he’s still blowing out his hoop at 70 mins.

Brown, Ntcham and Christie of last season are no loss to Celtic at all in reality. Broony, on occasion, at an absolute push.

Rogic has definitely improved massively this season. However, and I know it's not all about stats, he has 1 goal in 14 games this season. He needs to start improving his numbers.

Turnbull's performances have been more inconsistent, some of them being downright stinking, but at least he's contributing with more goals.

Neither of them can string a number of good performances together.

Chrisite is a massive loss for me more so than Eddy. Christie was fantastic under Ange and looked like the Christie of old to lose him and Brown is massive granted Ntcham is no great loss.

I am firmly behind him still but this is quite an ignorant way to look at it.

Beating Dundee by 6 goals at home isn't anything new to celtic so he can't live off of that forever. That's already in the past after a defeat to rangers and now Livingston.

I conceded that this season would be a transitional one and as long as he got us improving that would be fine. So far 3 defeats in the league is not improvement.

We need more. Also its just stupid to expect the same type of patience from the overall fanbase of celtic in comparison to Yokohama or Brisbane Roar. That's not arrogance, it's just fact.

As I've said, not the time for panic or knee * reactions but I hope we aren't sitting here in 12 months time with you still saying the same "just wait another 6 months". That only washes for so long, sadly, at a club like celtic.

Lost 4 of our last 5 games in all comps

Lost all our away league fixtures

Only won once away in all comps.

6th in the league after 6 games..

Lost to bottom of the table Livi..

    Already chasing the huns...

It doesn't read well no matter what the circumstances.. I said he'd need a year to sort this mess out and again I blame the board 100% for the mess we are in and the state of our squad... But if it keeps heading this way his job will be in trouble..

Did he not follow up a title winning season in Japan by finishing 8th 36 points behind the winners ?

Anybody genuinely wanting Ange sacked need a reality check, we sack Ange and 100% it goes to Strachan or Kennedy for the season, and by then I honestly think we struggle to finish second.

He 100% deserves criticism for yesterdays game, it was honestly as bad as anything Lennon has cooked up and bringing on Bitton was horrendous.

At the same time he was missing Mcgregor, Forrest, Kyogo and Giakoumakis. Aye we should have won without them 100%, but I don't think we drop points with said players in the team.

The huns are pish this season, and are going to drop a lot more points going forward, and we need to be ready to capitalise on that. There's no real excuse for Ange to drop points at Pittodrie, we've been excellent there in recent years, Aberdeen are struggling and all our players (bar Kyogo) should be back.

Haven’t seen anyone genuinely desire for that tbh.

There's one or two in this thread already, one of which said he wanted Strachan to replace him.

It's obviously a minority right now thankfully, but the fact there even is a minority is worrying.
