Once again...FFS ...I say, can we just put the Oz fitba * behind us?

I come on here as a Celtic fan - pure and simple - it just drives me * mad when * want to derail the threads by pullling the carpet out from under Australians and our league.

Give it a rest FFS. I'm a Celtic fan and I don't come here to have my my home league bagged when we've contributed so many outstanding players to Celtic.

It is pretty * but. Like the Scottish Leagues pretty * in comparison to what’s around it. Australian leagues probably below it in terms of quality. It’s awrite mate, just admit when things are quite *.

It is an interesting dynamic. The same Celtic fans who are miffed at the fact English football fans * on our club and league are the same ones who rip the * out of the Australian game and the League of Ireland (The Scales link).

There is some of that but in the grand scale of football, both leagues are quite *. Doesn’t mean there’s no quality. Like Bundesliga and La Liga’s quite good, SPFL and A League’s quite *.

 

If yer no fae Oz then you're probably not picking up on the subtleties of what's happening here.

There's a shitload of Scottish * going on from the newer members and it's doing my head in.

People trying to crawl up yer arses by agreeing Oz fitba's * - pandering to Scottish bias and making them feel better about their league. Sorry but the SPL and AL (Celtic excepted) are pretty much on par. Any * whae says nae isnae watching.

Is it about time we just make a wee sub forum just for the Aussies?

Why not just put an Aussie football thread up?

 

I grew up in Melbourne, I’m fine with the subtleties. A League doesn’t have anybody of the quality of Celtic or Rangers. I’d probably add Aberdeen into that this season. Quality in it is more ‘best of the rest’ SPFL quality.

St Johnstone would probably win it for me just now.

We're not talking about just the quality of Oz fitba. It goes way beyond that.

There are people on this forum delibersately trying to destroy the reputation of Oz fitba while simultaneously holding the * of Celtic fans. Some of you are falling for that.

Most of you won't care because Oz fitba is a small part of the SPL pie. But for someone like me who sees the * shitebags lickin yer nuts...yeah, I'm * off.

Or else… they just don’t think it’s that good and it’s not a grand conspiracy. Most of my family’s still over there and don’t follow the A League because they think it’s *. When I grew up there I didn’t follow the NSL for similar reasons, I followed Celtic.

The league isn’t that good. You can’t even get relegated, one of the biggest marks against the ‘Super League’ getting off the ground. Australia have had some cracking players but the leagues not the highest standard and it’s a weird hill to die on.

Where would you rate it, in worldwide football terms?
