Will the lack of champions league football (again) hinder signings?

I mean regardless of champions league football or not we needed a rebuild (much quicker than this I might add)

I have absolutely no faith in the board and I'd say 99% of the support feel the same way. So what I invision is league 1/ spfl signings that a) will not be Ange's targets and b) further signings that will add absolutely no quality to the squad. I hope I'm wrong but can anyone honestly see anything g else happening?

 

Ange doesn't get a single bit of blame for the results against Midjityland. It would be like trying criticise Sebastian Vettel for coming second in the Dubai GP in a car with no engine and wheels made of chocolate. It's a credit to him that he made it as far as he did.

But seeing as my point is we should be miles ahead of every other team, I would only need to see one that's fitter than us to be right.

Añge hasn't won me over yet but he is really being hung out to dry by our inept board. Slow to get players in and no matter what he says, Kennedy and Strachan have been forced on him. I think today is the last day for registering players for the next round of Europe, if we don't sign any today we go into the Europa League qualifying with the same 2 full backs and Goalkeepers. We will have Starfelt and Hushi I'm not sure if they alone will be enough to salvage European football for this season.
Maybe our Aussie mates can answer this, is Ange of character that he will walk if the Board has broken promises that they made when he took the job? If we loose to Hearts and fail in the Europa, with no players coming in I dont think anyone would blame him if he did.

 

Seriously he may walk, this gig is looking more and more a career killer.

 

As confident as I am that Ange can be a good manager for us, he cannot do it on his own. That restructure is absolutely vital now and the priorities are bringing in a DoF and a major scouting overhaul. Of that doesn't happen very soon then he's destined to fail and not through any fault of his own.

I would actually welcome him throwing in the towel and exposing the absolute shambles that he's being made to oversee. This board cannot be allowed to carry on like this and is gonna take a massive coordinated effort by fans, players (who are not getting any help) and staff (who are being asked to produce miracles).

I just hope the * idiots who are partial to a 'shoot/hang the board' banner somehow grow a brain and realise that that only defeats the purpose of legitimate protest. That * will ensure the board have the perfect excuse to dig their heels in and drive the narrative that it's only the crazies that are unhappy. Please folks, if any of your people are thinking of taking things too far, get them told that they are not helping our cause.

We need to do this right, things just can't go on like this.

 

What if there were a lot of crazies? Numbers may put the fear of * into the board. Smash up their cars, they will know that their heads are next if they don't resign.

 

All that does it put the whole country against us. There would be uproar and our reputation would take even more of a battering. We get slaughtered for singing songs ffs what you're suggesting is so far away from being effective. Try and have a bit of intelligence about you instead of letting anger cloud your judgement.

 

Unfortunately, violence is effective, while peaceful methods are not.
