    Maybe came across differently on TV, but there was a clear roar at the game each time he did this on Saturday.

    I don’t think the suggestion it was in poor taste - given he knew he was going - should be mocked like it is.

    I think it isn't being mocked enough, but I keep getting in trouble for saying so.

    I guess it’s true people see things/games differently from home.

    Maybe. What channel did you watch it on?

    Or maybe it's a section thing. I was in the upper tier, do you think it might've been something like;

    Lower Tier = "Oh my goodness, confirmation he's staying !!!"
    Upper Tier = "Chest thump."

    Don't know how you can be so cynical. I can't bring myself to believe that an English Premier League side would not only tap another team's manager some time before offically signing them but also then schedule a trip to his country to milk the link for as much exposure and cash as possible and I especially can't believe it of a guy like Levy. No, you can believe that if you want, I believe it's coincidence.

    Of course an Australian tour coinciding with the hiring of an Australian manager will be beneficial, but let's not overstate it: Football is largely an insignificant sport in Australia. They've hired him because for whatever reason they think he's the best available candidate, not because of some lucrative commercial opportunities which will suddenly be unlocked in a nation where football is less popular than tennis.

    Spurs probably tired of going for the usual big names that are on the managerial merry-go-round, have opted this time to try a different approach, whether it will work or not only time will tell.

    Give him time and let the players buy into it and it will. Doubt he’ll get that time though.

    Yeah totally different enviroment, the EPL is ruthless and not the ideal place for a manager to be given time to get it right, will be intersting to see how it works out, personally i don't think it will end well for Ange, cetainly not with levy running the show.
