Aye, people said the same about the Man City one, saying Pep was almost clueless and his tactics non-existent, how is he so successful etc. Like he was Sam Allardyce or something. The players spend hours every day in those meeting rooms going through match plans, scenarios and tactics. No way will we get a full look at the stuff that's said about other teams and the inner workings of match planning.
These programmes are more about the personalities and making drama out of situations. It's like a soap opera. They work well in that respect but no one will ever learn anything about the tactical knowledge or training methods of Jose or Pep from them.
It's a shame in some ways as i'd like them to explain how they operate setting up a tactic or the drill-like training they do in order for players to learn to keep their shape defending and how they rehearse counter attacks etc. Maybe not in 100% detail but some explaining of it so that it's obvious running a football club isn't a soap opera.

    New episodes out now.
Would have been good to see some dressing room scenes from after Everton totally outplayed them yesterday.
Too many players touching their balls :56:

Despite the obvious heavy editing, it's a decent insight and I always enjoy watching these programmes. However, can't help but get the impression that the Spurs dressing room is tame as *.

They don’t seem to have any Scott brown type characters in there to gee them up when things aren’t going well.
Mourinho even had to bribe them with an extra day off to get them to make some noise after they won ffs.

    Daniel Levy is insufferable.

Always trying to pal about with the players and coaches. You can tell he’s * clueless about the actual game and Mourinho just has to listen to him and put up with it :giggle1:

Don’t think Mourinho has anytime for his medical staff either. He doesn’t even look at him when he’s talking to him.

I thought that mourinho comes across fairly well except when he’s talking to that physio. As you say, doesn’t even look at him.
Funny when he was obviously just humouring Levy and repeating everything he said in a strange over enthusiastic voice :56:.

Can see it now had we ever got Jose to Celtic.
Jack Hendry would have started greeting in the corner, brown would have shrugged it off as another day at the office.
Ajer would have been pumped up to *, went back out and two footed the first player he saw and sent off within seconds, still pumped out his nut.

Finished it yesterday. A decent watch but never took a whole lot from it. Other than the fact it’s a boring as * squad with no characters.

Levy is Brent-esque when it comes to talking about football.:giggle1:

Aye starting to watch it now as well, end of episode one, the folk who made this must have creamed when they found out mourinhio was the new manager, otherwise this would have been pretty grey.

Not sure it's got 9 episodes in it though, already at November in the season

I’ve just started but enjoying it. Jose is great, completely different side of him.

I thought that was pathetic as well. I suspect there’s a lot of * like that in football.

Spurs need characters in their squad, he’s trying to squeeze aggression out damp squibs.

Even big Dier going into the crowd was * laughable, he wasn’t even raging it was a total ‘hawd me back’ moment and he was completely placid walking into the dressing room.

Kane, class striker but can barely speak never mind rally the troops. Alli, a lazy idiot. Capable of class in moments only and has gone backwards.

Docherty and Hoiberg is a start, think there will be another good few if he gets his way.

Gareth Bale apparently. He would definitely add something.
