SSN saying its a club record fee for Swansea so its more than £6m, as their previous record fee was £6m for Zamora from Fulham.

    What will happen to #uncleki?

I wish Ki all the best. A player with undoubted talent I'm positive he will fulfill his potential.

:56: Hold on till I check our bank account.

We'll be receiving 6m+, if the BBC reports are anything to go by.

I liked him when he was here, and I think he'll probably do well in England, but no way is he a £6 million player. That's a brilliant piece of business by the board.

If Ki is a £6 million player then Ledley, Kayal and Brown must all be £10 million+.

if its £6m thats a steal for him. was hoping more like £8/9m (cause he will go for a * of a lot more in a few years) I'm sure he will do great playing in a team like swansea who will continue where they left off last season and play passing attacking football. I have no doubt he will be one of the best mids down there with a settled position. Just wait a few years and then see what kind of money he goes for and to which team.

Ki is more technical, better passer and better awareness than any of the players you mentioned. why would they go for more? Especially Brown, the guy has drive and battling qualities but thats where it ends. Think we could have got more for Ki tbh, confident that the coming year(s) will prove what a good player he can be for a team

Ki is technically gifted, yes, but you can't single out one attribute in a player and suggest that because they are the best in the squad at that attribute they are the best player. Paddy has the best ball control of all our wingers but he's still nowhere near the starting 11.

Out of our first team centre-mids, Ki was just the least useful. Brown, Ledley, Wanyama and Kayal have all regularly made absolutely decisive contributions to games. They can pull a team up through their own performance. I can't ever remember Ki doing the same.

Sad to see Ki go. Post in Celtic chat will now decrease dramatically.

Stupid stupid buisness. When we have to play 4-5-1 away from home in Europe who will be our creative midfielder? (please no one say McCourt, now that we've established he's pish on the wing a new myth has evolved that he's a creative central midfielder, he's not) I doubt we'll spend a quarter of that money. Stupid mistake.
